The amazing UGO is a treasure trove for bargain hunters! If you haven't shopped there yet, you’re in for a treat! The prices are jaw-droppingly low, especially for name-brand items, but there’s a little trick—you’ve got to keep an eye on the expiration dates. While the canned goods are always a win, some items require a closer look. The selection is a delightful surprise each time, so you never quite know what gems you’ll uncover when you walk through the door!

I can’t believe how far my money goes there! I can easily rack up a $160 grocery bill and walk out with 30 bags of goodies. Compare that to Walmart or Food City, where $160 might just get you five bags! I wholeheartedly recommend UGO—start there for your essentials, and if you can’t find something, then hit up the big box stores. Without a doubt, they deserve a five-star rating every time! I am changing my wonderful review, because it seems the managers don't care about their employees. I literally was just there about 2 weeks ago? And I complimented this girl's amazing Halloween jacket and her shirt that was one of my favorite games. I come back a few days ago and a different employee tells me that y'all have to wear collared shirts all of a sudden? I can't help but feel it was some weird boss who doesn't understand clothing etc. Obviously something happened here and I'm really upset with what they have done to their great hardworking employees who I'm sure they don't pay enough. Let them wear whatever they want again ffs. This just made me feel weird that they changed it shortly after...

You have to shop at UGO knowing that it isn't a typical grocery store. They carry many items normally found in a supermarket, but the prices are lower for a reason. It's no frills shopping, and there is a limited selection. The store specializes in end-of-date merch, overruns, marketing disasters and closeouts. They sometimes have spectacular buys. It isn't a good place if you have specific items on your shopping list. However if you are an opportunistic shopper, you can find some real bargains. Lately there is a noticeable effort to re-organize the store, so like items are placed together. The close-out and last chance section is now located in the rear, right-hand corner of the store....
