Save A Lot — Local services in Cleveland

Overall, it was a very disappointing experience for me at this store. Visited 3x over the last year. Purchased minimal the first time. Walked out empty-handed the last 2x. Lots of no-name unknown brands at higher prices than any or all of SaL [precieved] competition grocery stores in the community. Meats & Produce appear to be " recycled" having been acquired from other stores in the community and then resold by SaL, observing from their small random inconsistent selection available & questionable shelf life left. The staff seemed nice, pleasant enough. But I could tell they weren't being paid enough to care. Or would consider long-term employment. During my 3 visits, there were only 2 familiar faces watching from the offices. Which made me feel suspicious & uncomfortable being there. I won't bother shopping there again. There's no reason, too. Comparing prices ? There is no comparison & no "savings?." Making Cleveland Tn SaL a "valuable?" "saving?"or "worthwhile?"stop for my grocery shopping. My advice. Don't Bother. Don't waste your time or hard earned money on questionable food. At the same price point as BBS or Chain grocery stores....

Ok prices this time around. My kids and I sat in a line of 4 other customers and waited to be cashed out… only had one cashier… and she was crazy unpleasant. Not what I notice normally when I am in this store. The cashier that finally came up and we were getting cashed out (17) min later… was very disrespectful and crabby as well. My kids tried to help her by giving her a cart for the customer and she very rude like took it from them. My son proceeded with you have a great day Ma’am !! With a huge smile and got nothing but a mean glare. Our cashier got the same have a great day Ma’am and just looked at him like you are not right kid. 🤦‍♀️🤔I was less than impressed… I am not a fan of coming in to this store lately for that reason. Respect is everything to me. My kids are not the kids that run around and act like they are 2…. So I don’t appreciate it much when people act like that. “Puts a nasty taste in your mouth!” Hope others have a better save a lot shopping...

The freezer that holds all the frozen foods like french fries and such was not keeping things frozen, all the fries, onion rings and potato wedges were thawed and mushy, the hashbrowns turned into a blob of shredded potatoes and looked disgusting. I would not trust buying frozen foods from this store ever again. I told an employee and they were like so what. Also one of the people stocking the freezers on the other side of the aisle was basically throwing the food into the freezer, it's like he took extra effort to drop items from a height rather than just place them in the freezer. I have lost all confidence in this store and will no longer shop there due to health concerns about the frozen foods being thawed out and just...
