Finally the kind of coffee shop I've been waiting for to come to Cleveland! I've been to nearly every coffee shop in the region and this has to be near the top (top in my book), and they're very new to the area!
I've been waiting for a place that's part coffee shop and part thrift store and here it is! To add to that perfect combo, they have their adorable friendly bulldog Clementine that roams the coffee shop 😍
I've been waiting for a place like this that has a cat or dog that roams. So many other types of businesses have that and I'm surprised more coffee shops don't follow suit. I understand allergies and what not so I get that every coffee shop can't have pets but still, this is truly a third space kind of place...
The curated thrift store part of the coffee shop is on point. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other curated thrift stores in the area like Avalon Exchange, Flower Child, etc.
As far as the atmosphere, it's super cute! They have great taste in decorating that goes all the way from the outside sign which is a perfectly cute weathered rugged sign to the decorating of the bathroom! This place is an absolute gem and I wouldn't be surprised if the volume picks up more and more, and every time you walk in, you got almost every, if not every table and couch filled.
Without question, this is my new favorite coffee shop in northeast Ohio, and I will officially become a regular...
Read moreOatmeal chocolate chip cookie - vegan, so expectations on how soft it would be was low, it was still the best thing we had.
Ordered their vanilla hot latte, iced dirty chai and pumpkin puree hot latte.
Iced Chai latte - it didn't have enough milk, it was very heavy in the tea and was watered down.
Pumpkin puree latte - it had obviously a strong taste of pumpkin puree with whatever they put on top, but the coffee itself wasn't good.
Vanilla latte - it follows the same issue of incorrectly pulled espresso shot, but to top it off, even using whole milk, it wasn't stretched correctly and the texture wasn't good. It would be like taking milk and warming it up in the microwave and pouring it.
I will also say, you may want to play with your recipe, it seems you're not using enough syrup, I was there waiting for my drink and a customer came up with her iced latte and asked for more pumpkin syrup.
Needless to say, we ate the cookie and spilled out the drinks.
Place is also dirty, it has potential. Need to clean it up, and retrain the barista, the equipment they have is very good and this place can kick ass, I hope my criticism isn't taken in a bad way and it only leads to...
Read moreVery confused about my experience here. Staff was pretty unwelcoming, they were't busy no greeting when we walked in and a general strange vibe. A little bit of vintage clothing, and a shelf of $10 bandanas which I assumed would be vintage or cotton, but the tags said 100% polyester and made in China. I ordered a raspberry matcha which the barista suggested. The other barista held up a blue bag of what I assume was matcha powder and said "so, you just want me to use this, right," to which the other barista replied, "i mean yeah, thats all we have." My matcha was a grey-blue color and tasted like milk and artificial raspberry. I am unsure why it was this color, but I have heard that matcha powder can turn blue when it has gone bad. With a tip i paid $8.50 for it. I would have asked about it, or possibly asked for another drink if I felt my presence was a little more welcome. I understand this is a new business but from the overpriced polyester bandanas, unwelcoming staff, and low-quality products, there are clearly a combination of issues here and I will not...
