Subway — Restaurant in Cleveland

As of today 05/30/2025 around 11 AM, I visited Subway for lunch and ordered a veggie sandwich on Italian bread, toasted—just like I always do. However, when I tried the sandwich, the bread was extremely hard on the outside (almost like a rock) and oddly chewy on the inside. It was very difficult to eat.

I politely asked the staff member if the bread was freshly made. Instead of offering any help, he quickly put on gloves, grabbed my sandwich to inspect it, and then blamed the issue on me—toasting it, he said, was the reason the bread became hard.

I’ve been ordering toasted sandwiches on Italian bread from Subway for years and never had this problem. This clearly wasn’t about the toasting—it felt like the bread was either stale or overbaked before it was even toasted.

What disappointed me more than the sandwich was the lack of accountability and poor customer service. Rather than acknowledging the issue or offering to remake it, I was blamed for how...

I would give this restaurant a -5 Stars if I could. This is the closest Subway to my house and I have had several experiences trying to order sandwiches there. Not only do they not participate in the national advertised "buy two, get one free footlong", the manager was very rude in telling me that "he does not participate in that", so I walked two doors down to Mr. Hero and spent more money than I would have at Subway. I will drive to the Subway in Fairview Park at West 220 before I go to the "slumway" ever again at Kamm's Corner. VERY...

Worse subway ! Go to the one on 150 at the BP gas station ! This subway at kammes corner is very poor an lazy I legit had to explain to him how to make my sandwich an on top of that he wrapped the sandwich up to where when I opened it up everything in the sub came out ...this subway should be shut down or new owners an new workers bc they do not care at all in there an it's always the same people working .....I'm so annoyed by my sandwich that I want a refund but had to get...
