Don't let this Americanized Mexican food fool, you i visit this restaurant just to see and check on the food. I ordered a burrito with beans rice lettuce and tomato. Well I was very disappointed at my burrito, first the beans were ok, the rice was undercooked, some of the rice were hard, this can only happen if the rice was left out the warmer for too long, or was not freshly made, the lettuce did not taste good, the tomatoes had a brown part on it, like either not fresh, or is been out refrigeración os simply low quality item. Well , needless to say I did not enjoy my meal and for the price, it was a costly food that the garbage can gladly accept . Maybe there are other foods available but I will not take a chance with my money. Soda was ok several hot sauces ok, they cover the real taste of the beef pork or chicken. But don't take it from me, I am only one person with this opinion, if you feel hungry and daring, go for it and have your own opinion. If you like what you see and eat you will form your own opinion. My opinion is based on authentic Mexican food consumption from real Mexican food. Using mexican spices and mexican ingredients makes the authentic Mexican flavor we've...
Read moreI order from here fairly often and I’ve noticed these last few months the portion sizes are so small. Even when asking for extra protein (up-charge) it is hardly any difference. I’m basically paying nearly $20 on a burrito bowl/burrito that’s just all lettuce. So disappointing….
EDIT: Changing my rating to 1 star. I would give zero if I could. I ordered from here on Valentine’s Day, just to give it one final shot and spent nearly $25 on a burrito bowl (spent over $50 altogether). They messed up on my order, and forgot my drink (like normal), I drove there myself afterwards and tried explaining my frustration but no one spoke English so it was kind of pointless. They remade the same disappointing burrito bowl, we’re still STINGY as hell on their portion sizes, completely ignored me, and had an attitude from the moment I got there. Never have had such an awful experience before! Will not return. Don’t even bother, you’ll be wasting...
Read moreI should have known trouble was brewing when I had a hard time choosing which stale-looking protein to pick for the indifferent employee to slab on my burrito… Would it be the crusty sofritas that looked like it had been sitting there for a few days? Or the dried out steak that looked like it was freshly grilled during the first Bush administration?
I went with the chicken that ended up tasting like calamari I had this one time from a sun baked food cart in Tijuana. I can’t tell for sure, but the beans tasted like the table salt container had been accidentally spilled into the mixing bowl.
Now as I’m paying the price of my culinary decisions in this gas station bathroom and contemplating my life, I wish I would have gone next door to Taco Bell; at least there I know the gastric cost of admission for a burrito. Oh,...
