If you're looking for a fantastic Peruvian dining experience, I highly recommend Jaimito’s. From the moment you step inside, you'll be transported to an amazing place with its beautiful decor and welcoming atmosphere.
Now let's talk about the food - oh my goodness, it is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend starting off with the ceviche, which is made with the freshest fish and bursting with tangy citrus flavors. The lomo saltado is another must-try dish, with tender strips of beef, sautéed onions, tomatoes, and french fries, all served on a bed of fluffy white rice.
But what really sets Jaimito’s apart is the exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and they always go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic dining experience.
Overall, I can't recommend Jaimito’s enough. If you're in the mood for flavorful, authentic Peruvian cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere,...
Read moreI can’t believe I never knew this place existed!!! I grew up in the area eating homemade Peruvian food but never went to a chifa place. Huge portions. Their chaufa is immaculate, the pollo is tender, flavorful and not dry at all. Aji verde was good. The lomo is a little different than what I’m used to, but it was good. My friend loves it. Salsa criolla didn’t have vinegar or was super light on the vinegar which was different for me but still good. Alfajores are on point.
Staff was very friendly. My friend told me that the owners are a Peruvian Chinese couple and that their son helps run the place too. Not a lot of seating so if you have a lot of people you wanna do take out.
Next time I’m trying the wantan frito and seco de res (was sold out when I went). Support a local family business and...
Read moreThis place is I assume under different management since last I went some years ago. The food wuality was terrible, but priced as if it were 5 star service. I got a ceviche mixed which was only tilapia. No squid, no shrimp, nothing..... it was terrible. But priced as if it was gourmet. The kamlu Won Yon had nothing in it either. Hear ago it came with duck, shrimp, and other ingredients. The papa la huanca was cheezwhiz. Most likely jalapeños with yellow food coloring. I also got the fried duck. It was supposed to be crispy, it was like roasted rubber.
I k ew the original owners from the 80s/90s, their quality was beyond reproach. I have no idea who these owners are but their quality is less than a street car's service.
I would not recomend this place now to people I...
