Long Review I've been here 2ce before and had a great experience... this time, however, was NOT. Made a reservation for 5pm (8ppl) for a birthday, but when we got there, they said it was 5:30. Had to wait about 20min. During that time, another, smaller party, came in with the same reservation time, but got seated 1st. If this wasn't irritating enough, when the lady came to get us, she said the name on the reservation & I responded, but she completely ignored me and went to the rest of my party... I kept trying to speak to her and tell her I'm the name on the reservation and she continued to ignore me, and then turned and said, 'I'm sorry, I'm doing something right now, I'll be right with you' & continued to try to speak to the other people in my party. I continued to say you need to speak to me. When she finally paid attention to me, I asked if we were sitting in the back where they just placed the other party. This is the section that I was told we would be seated in & that would put 13ppl in a space that would not allow for safe distance eating. Of course we told them that we were leaving, because there were already a lot of people there, & that corner was gonna make it ok. They kept trying to explain, but never explained why we had to wait... this was an important time bc we were trying to celebrate with 6out of towners. Now we have to...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I decided to go here for an anniversary dinner... it was nice. Lots of parking... when I first walk into the restaurant the chair and tables were spaced out for 6 feet distance away from each other... The bar is on the left-hand side as you enter in the door and well-maintained.. The music was slow to a nice and ambience type of environment... as soon as we walk in we were approached and seated immediately... The service definitely is a five star... The hostess was very nice and she was quite attentive to our needs... and she was right on point when we need something to bring to our table..she check on us to see if there is something we need...the fried calamari was good with the sauce.. they doesn’t have a lot of food or varieties to choose from.. which is OK because it’s actually a seafood restaurant... I felt like the food was really really good and I enjoyed very much... but I felt like you could have get more for the price that you pay it is a little on the expensive side..other than that the service...
Read moreThe seafood theme is spot on and the location is excellent with adequate parking. The seafood section was pretty basic but has all of the classics. The stream/sauce bag was innovative but a little restrictive as we needed to fish out fallen clans in the sauce. Speaking of clams they were small and worth skipping. They rest of the seafood was decently sized but some were a tad overcooked, like the scallops and lobster tail. The Island flavor (just a mix of all other sauces) could definitely be skipped. Overall the service felt anemic, our waitress was helpful and pleasant but we waited for over 10 minutes for someone to even take a drink order or say hi from when we walked in. The cashier was also absent most of the time making customers and door dash (or equivalent) drivers wait with their cooling deliveries piling up at the counter. Overall better than Joe's, but would not hold a candle to a shore spot. Come give it a try if you're leaving seafood and want a change or break...
