If you are looking for Costa Rican food this is not your place. Service is bad. El Gallo pinto I know that for the untrained eye and taste looks and feels like rice and beans put together... well, it is not! There is more to it and tossing rice and beans in a pan, and if you call yourself a Costa Rican restaurant and that is not clear to the taste and eye, well you fail. I love this restaurant! I went there for the 3rd time today and for the 3rd time I was delighted by the food. The portions are large, the food is tasty and fresh and the coffee is excellent. It's also a place where I try to practice my Spanish! The owners and waitresses are so sweet. They don't laugh at my attempts to communicate. :) I have been to Noches de Colombia many times and for me, La Posada beats them hands down. I'm Irish American so what do I know about Latin food? Made a huge mistake of not taking a picture of this wonderful meal! My girlfriend and I were extremely happy with our order which was the churrasco with yellow rice French fries and vegetables.

The only thing I was disappointed about are the French fries, they didn’t fry them for to long, it wasn’t crispy but soggy. Luckily I have an air fryer at home so that took care of the problem, make sure you ask them extra crispy on the fries! Other then that I recommend everyone to make their way over...
