My girlfriend and I (with her 7½ month old baby) were really looking forward to trying this restaurant after seeing all the rave reviews on TikTok, the place looked cute and promising. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype.
First off, the location caught us off guard. It’s in the middle of a rough area, but we decided to look past that and give it a chance. When we sat down, we looked over the menu and even asked our waiter for his personal recommendations since it was our first time there. We ended up ordering a pizza that clearly listed mushrooms in the description. A few minutes later, he came back to the table to clarify if we really wanted mushrooms on the pizza which was odd, considering that’s part of the dish.
The restaurant itself was practically empty when we arrived. They don’t serve alcohol, yet the cocktail prices were surprisingly high, as if they did. Most of the food items were priced between $20–$25+, and honestly, they price their menu as if everything came straight from Italy. They try to impress you with the cheese wheel presentation but that’s really all they have going for them.
Our server was kind and pleasant, and the food itself was decent. The real disappointment came with dessert. Online and on the menu, the desserts looked incredible, and with prices starting at $15+, we expected them to deliver. What we got was underwhelming the glass was thick, which made it look fancy, but there was barely any ice cream inside. Just to give you a visual: imagine a $4 McFlurry from McDonald’s actually having more value and substance than a $15+ dessert at a “trendy” restaurant. That’s exactly how it felt.
On top of that, my friend’s dessert was missing toppings. When we mentioned it to our waiter, he checked with a colleague who whispered back that they were out of that topping, so they just substituted something else without asking us first. This could’ve easily been fixed with a simple apology or offer to change the dessert, but no one acknowledged it or tried to make it right which is just basic customer service. To make matters worse, after the inconvenience had already happened, the same colleague who whispered about the missing toppings proceeded to play and interact with my girlfriend’s 7-month-old baby as if nothing had just happened. It honestly felt tone-deaf and dismissive.
To top it all off, when the bill came, there was a 20% tip automatically added. On the receipt, it actually says 20% will be added to parties of one or more, which felt a bit ridiculous. They made sure to highlight that, but couldn’t extend the same level of attention to the fact that our order was incomplete.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially for the prices. It’s not about the money we love going out and enjoying ourselves but the quality and service didn’t match the hype at all. TikTok really sold the dream here, but this was a reminder that those videos aren’t...
Read moreIf I could put zero I would. Two words: never again. Don't let TikTok fool you. We drove 35 minutes to this restaurant when we could've stayed in my town and had way better food. I wouldn't mind paying what I paid if the food was good. A meal for two was $165. I was told that if I wanted to drink Alcohol, I can just go to the liquor store behind the spot and get stuff. If I knew how expensive a glass of water with a lemon would be, I would've grabbed all my drinks from the Walgreens across the street or the liquor store behind me. My cousin asked for a lemonade and was given water with lemon in it and was charged $8 for lemon juice. Nothing like lemonade it was water with a lemon in it. I asked for chicken Parm with vodka sauce instead of marinara, and The waiter looked at me like I had three heads. And told me no, you're gonna just do Penne vodka with chicken. I was trying to explain that I didn't want penne pasta. And got it anyway. There was barely any sauce in the penne vodka. It was more cheese than anything, which caused it to dry up. $25 for a pretty much personal pie. Also got charged five dollars for open food... Which I'm assuming is because my cousin tried a slice from it. We ordered a white pizza and didn't realize bacon was on top of it. The bacon was still raw, was not cooked at all.. That we actually took it off And just ate the white pizza. There's no way in hell that was $25... this place is a joke. Even when I asked for the pizza, he looked at me like he was gonna tell me no. I was so confused as when I'm talking he's looking at me like disgusted in me or Confused. I don't know.
$25 for a Caesar salad with chicken with very minimal chicken & lacked dressing.
Then, before the waiter hand us our tab, he goes gratuities already included & walks away. Right off the bat it's a 20% gratuity included in a party of one or more.. Gratuity included with a party of one or more makes no sense. I understand a party of four or more, but two people. And 20%? I would've thought 18%.
My waiter was given $27 due to the 20% gratuity. My waiter never asked me how the food was, Never checked on us while we were eating, I couldn't get extra napkins, Was trying to ask for a water I couldn't get that. And it wasn't even that busy to be overlooked or missed. I don't even think he knew the menu because everything I asked him, he looked at me like I had three heads.
Horrible experience and then to be told all tips already included, and he walks away. He sees me put $200 in The book for the receipt. And has the nerve to ask me do I need change? I just started laughing like you're kidding, right ? You just got almost a $30 tip. Did you seriously think you were gonna get another $40 . Yeah, no...

If you’re anywhere near 312 Clifton Ave, you need to check out Napoli Pizza, Chk Wings & Crepes Roma — this place is a total treasure. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of great energy. But the real magic is in the food!
Let’s start with the pizza — hands down some of the best in town. The crust is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with just the right amount of chew. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and each slice is full of flavor. Whether you’re into classic cheese or something more creative, they do it right.
The chicken wings are another standout. Cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and tossed in sauces that actually taste homemade. Not too greasy, not too dry — just how wings should be.
Then there are the crepes, which honestly feel like a whole other level of comfort food. Whether you’re in the mood for a savory crepe or something sweet to end your meal, they’re beautifully made, generously filled, and incredibly satisfying. The sweet crepes with Nutella and strawberries are especially addictive!
One of the best surprises was the outdoor patio. It’s rare to find a pizza place with a patio that feels this nice. It’s clean, cozy, and has a great vibe — perfect for lunch in the sun or a chill evening with friends and family. It makes the whole dining experience feel more special.
The staff here deserve a shout-out too. Friendly, attentive, and fast. They make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit.
In short, Napoli Pizza, Chk Wings & Crepes Roma is more than just a food stop — it’s a place you’ll keep coming back to. Whether you want a quick bite or a relaxing meal outdoors, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended for locals and anyone passing...
