Worse experience ever! If I could I would give them negative stars!! We ordered for breakfast online on their website. They messed up a good portion of our order. We asked for a egg platter with bacon on the side, since we have to pick a meat option on their site. So we picked 2 eggs, hoke fried and even wrote bacon on the side, since that person didn't eat meat. They delivered the order and the bacon was put right on top, when we called to let them know that the ordered was messed, the gentleman here showed so much attitude and had the nervous to say "why can't you just pick the bacon out and eat it". We explained to him that person doesn't get bacon cause of religious reasons and he wanted to even argue more about that fact why we couldn't just pick the bacon out and eat the platter. It was sad to see how ignorant their employees are. From that order 2 sandwiches, egg, cheese and Avocado. They didn't put any Avocado, while talking to him we explained that there was no Avocado on the sandwiches. He started arguing saying we charge extra for Avocado, which we didn't have a problem with. But he was like they might have forgotten and started we dont put Avocado on sandwiches. After going back and forth his like we can give you Avocado it will be 8 dollars for that. With all that we order iced blend coffee, they just put ice in it and send it over. Apparently that's how they make their ice BLEND coffee, don't know why you would put in the meny its blended, if its not. Plus we ordered a mango tropics smoothie, they gave us a strawberry smoothie. No other fruits were added, just strawberry and water. When we asked why there isnt there any other fruit it, he stated that there is mango and other frutis in it. Which there wasn't, so they were just lying. Btw I forgot to mention, when the driver came to driver the food, we noticed that the order was missing orange juice, which we definitely ordered. The driver started saying oh you guys are 15-20 minutes away. And started acting up. I guess he wanted us to just be like oh don't worry about it. Well apparently those 15 to 20 minute drive went by quick cause he was back in less than 5 to drop that orange juice shocklying. And their parfait only have yogurt and granola, usually it had fruits in it, atleast berries. But no such thing, just yogurt and granola. It was shocking to see how horrible their customer service is. I can definitely say this is the worse place I have ordered from. When though it was their fault, they just wanted to argue back and raise their voices. Besides just saying it was their fault and just fixing the order. They started with run around, just pick the bacon up or your guys are 15 minutes away. It wasn't so far when we wanted to tip you to make that delivery... hopefully they fix their problems they were having and show some respect to their...
Read moreOn 6.19.2024 I placed an order for bacon egg and cheese on a toasted crossaint. The young lady by the name of M.Thomas gave me number 35. I went inside and gave my number 35 to the owner's wife and she handed me the sandwich. I did not look at the ticket on the sandwich bag and I headed onto work. Got to work and ready to have my breakfast and it was the wrong order. I then looked at the ticket and it had someone else's name on it. I called the store to let them know I received the wrong order. I finally spoke to Paul who told me to take a picture of the ticket number and he will make it right. However, after hanging up the owner's wife who works the cash register called me back and argued with me stating that I should have looked at the ticket number before i left the store and she was NOT GOING TO GIVE ME Another SANDWICH OR my MONEY BACK. To me its not even about the money or the sandwich at this point. It's the rudeness and mannerisms in which she called and was behaving about their mistake and taking accountability. I will return the sandwich and will NEVER step foot in that place. She can have the sandwich and money because it's not going to me richer or poorer.
I read your response. First and foremost I didn't even have my phone with me because I left in my car. Secondly. I did make contact the with cashier when I have her my $10. Gave her a tip and took the bag from her. So please review your security camera for the morning. Yes I did went back to the bagel shop and returned the sandwich and told her she was very disgusting to be calling me on the job and told me she's not going to replace the sandwich or my money. So I told her it's not going to make me any richer or poorer and to take accountability for her worker mistake. That's what good customer service is all about which she's lacking. Therefore. I don't know who you guys are looking at on your security camera. I would love for you guys to post the footage showing me on my phone and then we will know who's lying. Read more$4.50 for a side of fries and it’s literally a handful of fries in a paper bag, cold and tasteless. Handed it to the cashier iand told her the fries were cold, she grabs the bag from me and 3 mins later hands me some new fries, no apologies, no eye contact, nothing! I don’t know when they started putting their fries in a bag because when I used to order in the past it was a decent size in an aluminum container. I guess they’re trying to cut cost by cutting back on portions and providing the proper containers, opting for a cheap bag that is drenched in grease. They use cheap quality ketchup that you buy at restaurant depot (totally disgusting). They charge NYC prices in Clifton New Jersey. There are quite a few bagel shops in the area and I Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere . I’ve lived in Clifton all my life and I will encourage all my friends and family to stay away from here.
And owner: please don’t respond to this comment with “are you sure you called the right place” or “due to inflation our small business….” Really, take accountability for your Delis mistakes and lack of customer service
UPDATE: This place is still Charging NYC prices in a small town in Jersey. It seems that the shortage the owner talked about in response to my review is still happening. Cheap ketchup and over priced food. DO yourself and your family a favor and stay far far away...
