Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Clifton

This Papa John’s Pizza location serves primarily Clifton, Passaic, and other neighboring towns and communities. Being one of the “big 3” national pizza chains, YMMV depending on service and quality, but you’ll be satisfied stopping by on some occasions, and disappointed in other times. The location is within the Lakeview Shopping Center (strip mall), and there’s a parking lot in front of the pizza shop.

Menu offers just about the usual fare you’ll notice in other Papa John’s locations: various pizzas (either create your own or certain recipes), side dishes such as chicken wings/boneless, desserts such as breadsticks/chocolate, and at somewhat affordable prices. Most customers are well aware of the online coupons available to bring costs down, almost to the same level as their competitors if you’ve wanted to do some bargain hunting. On average, pizzas here wouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to finish, and delivery times may vary depending on your distance.

In terms of my own service here, I wasn’t expecting anything high caliber aside from good enough pizzas for affordable prices. Sometimes orders may be messed up (rarely happens), but it’s one of the few places (Papa John’s as a collective, not limited to this location) that I know can prepare cheeseless/vegan friendly pizzas, albeit to little discount. It does feel strange not eating it too often, as I’ve done, but to some, the bread may be bland, and the sauce strong. Whenever possible, I would take advantage of my Papa Rewards (Papa John’s reward program for frequent buyers) and score on free pizzas or side dishes. I wouldn’t praise this as a “good” place, but if you’ve wanted food for cheap and affordable pricing and open late at night.

To end this, it’s just your normal, typical Papa John’s nothing too special. For those who want better pizza, try your local independent shops! But those acquainted to the taste/musings of a Papa John’s would feel...

I have been ordering from this store for many years & even when orders arrive with wrong items I never call to tell them & the reason for this is because the one time I did call, they wouldn't do anything to help me & they were very rude to me. Well again tonight when I ordered thru the app for some reason when I sent the order it was submitted incorrectly. The app changed the order to 2 of the same type pizza & left the other pizza I wanted off the order. I then ordered the other pizza separately. The manager called to ask if I placed 2 orders, I tried to explain to him what had happened with the order, he didn't want to hear & hung up on me. I called him back & asked him if I could just cancel out the 1 pizza that the app had ordered & I didn't need or want, he didn't want to hear anything I had to say & he said he couldn't help me & hung up again. This is last time I will order from this store, the people in this store are always rude. I spend a lot of money here & they are always rude even when the mistakes made are their faults. Tonight it cost me over $70, I will be throughing out an entire pizza that the app ordered & I had to put in a second order to get what the app omitted & had to pay a second delivery fee. I placed an order this past Saturday 11/28/20 for pick up. It seemed to be a very busy night bc I had to wait in my car for a little while since there were too many people inside and more kept just coming. I finally made my way inside to see the staff running around trying to keep up with all the orders. I have to give lots of props to them for fulfilling all the orders in a timely fashion and the woman behind the register who was not only dealing with taking orders from walk-ins but also answering the phone and handing out the food for pick-up...way to hold down the fort girl!!! I was very impressed with her service. Under all that pressure she still managed to keep her cool, stay professional and work proficiently...also I gave this establishment 4 stars bc the cleanliness wasn't...
