Zen Sushi — Restaurant in Clifton

The sushi is fresh and service is prompt, I just wish The waitress was friendlier and more accommodating. I usually go there and they have all you can eat sushi but this time I went instead of ordering what I normally would get I ordered some banana with crab and cream cheese roll it sounded good but when I went to eat it it was really disgusting! I couldn’t eat the roll so I told the lady that I wanted to order something else because that banana roll was really gross she bluntly told me you have to eat it whether you like it or not otherwise I’m gonna charge you for it! I told her that I was not five years old and I was not going to be told to eat my food whether I liked it or not I am paying for the food so therefore I have a say if I want to eat it or not I told her I’m not going to eat it it’s not because I ordered too much and I’m full I ordered it and it’s gross so you will not charge me and I’m not gonna eat it and I’m gonna get more sushi so she said to me OK I will just leave it on the table and collected at the end and she basically didn’t smile or apologize for her rudeness and I feel really bad because I really like the place but I did not like her service, I think she’s the only waitress...

So, me and my husband has been looking around for a great all you can eat Japanese food since he lived in Japan half his life. Today we decided to try this restaurant because of all the good reviews. Thinking it’s google I should trust it. But, it’s very disappointing. First was the waitress that served us was very unhappy to see I had my 18months old and a few weeks baby. Then comes as I was ordering I wasn’t even done with my order and she left me. Second was the quality of the food. Sushi village and sushi x are way better. The moment I gave our second order for sushi the lady gave us a nasty face like why are we still ordering?! Smh. They should not serve all you can eat and stick to the regular menu. Plus they don’t serve sashimi with the all you can eat but it’s specificially showed on their menu paper. Will I ever...

I was invited here with my boyfriend by his friend about a year to two years ago and have been going back ever since. This place is BYOB, ALL YOU CAN EAT plus an exquisite menu, it's small and cozy, veeeerrry nice staff, and D-E-Licious food! I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience here, gotten sick afterwards, been treated without respect, or anything. I highly recommend anyone to just pop in for a bite to eat you won't regret it! I've only had 1 miniscule issue of not receiving 1 item I ordered just recently after all of my time visiting this establishment. This was taken care of literally in the blink of an eye and I WILL CONTINUE TO VISIT THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE TIME AND TIME AGAIN (unless I move out of state lol)!
