Checkers — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Every time I order from them through DoorDash the food his old and cold. My kids ordered last night just before they were closed and you should see the mess they sent out this establishment. So tonight I go back this time and place the order ask to speak with the manager he's African American I can't tell you his name because he wasn't wearing a name tag. But I showed him the pictures of the food we received and asked him could everything be made fresh. His response was with them type of pictures DoorDash should've definitely gave you some of your money back. Instead of him trying to fix the mistake he went on to charge me for the food I paid they handed me the slushies and asked me to pull up while he make my order fresh. I get home and it's still not right. No bacon on the big beauford and the apple pies are missing. I just left there ordering food and had gotten something that didn't come on there and it was a charge that they didn't tell me it was a charge for both things I added on. My kids nd I were having a conversation in the car and Jessica came nd brought us our food and said nothing is "free" and I told her I wasn't even talking to you while you're all up in my car. They manager came over there and I was explaining to her how her employee was all up in my car conversation and put her two cents in and I explained to her that it would be nice if u tell your customers there is a charge for xyz. She told me that even Mc Donalds charges for extra whatever and I told her not from where I'm from because I'm not from out here. The manager then said something about common sense that when I told her it would be common sense to let the customers know it's a charge. I door dash here repeatedly. Every time I am asked to sign off on paperwork to 'prevent theft they never checks the name vs the account.. and they NEVER EVER watch me 'confirm pickup in the app. This time I asked her to sit and watch me hit confirm like her job requires. She refused. Flat out told me no and turned her back to me resorting to 'good night' as her responses from there.

These people repeatedly forget drinks, get offended when you point out errors in the order, anything that inconvenience them instead of trying to best represent their business to those around them.

I've seen 2 older gents that they to be friendly and help customers out and will talk to you as they work. I am assuming these are likely one a store manager. The rest of the staff want you out of the store and out of their face ASAP.
