King's Pizza — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Giving this place a one star due to incompetence of the employees. Call and place an order for pick up give MY name and wait the 20 minutes to pick it up. Show up at the pick up drive through and honk my horn and wait 5 minutes no one ever comes to the pick up window so I park and go I side where I'm greeted after a wait by a girl who can not find me in system she goes for help by a very nice young man who also can not find my order who tells me he's sorry he can't figure out what she did and seeks help this person who came to help can now tell me my total but has no idea where my pizza and salad are at. She gives no I'm sorry its gonna be a minute. Just walks away. Comes back after a few minutes I ask is my pizza done she says I don't know. I ask for my money back and ahe says she can't because she has no ticket for it . I say you can take my money but can't give it back. She says what was on your pizza I tell her again and low and behold she turns around and it's been sitting on a shelf the whole time. She hands to me and I ask how cold is it. She says it's not. And by the way the name on my order was your husband's I said I ordered gave my name so why would I ask for it under. She says it was my fault because I asked for a different name order so don't get mad at anyone but myself. I told her to have a nice night that I will be speaking to the owner and letting him know what goes on when he's not there. She followed me to my car to continue yelling at me that she has my name and number. Worst place ever to order at night from. Usually a great place been going for over 7 years. So I have been a great customer of this place for 15+ years. Last night I placed an order for a large Supreme pizza and 2 orders of the bone in wings..The pizza was very overcooked and dry and so were the wings I mean the wings were so overcooked you could not bite through them. No one enjoyed dinner and after seeing no one ate the wings because they were just too hard cooked and only i ate a slice of pizza because i had to work so i wasn't able to call at the moment. after thinking about it because the food is pricey decided I would call about my order..A young lady answered and I started off by saying " I feel terrible for calling and poliety explined about my order.. the young lady was nice and told me she would get a manager. Rudely Michelle the manager came on the line did not offer an apology but immediately went into saying their was nothing that could be done and I shoulda called last night! Had she let me explain she woulda heard me say i was working last night and wasn't able to call. If she would have listened she also would have heard me say i still had all the hard wings and i would have shown her how dry the pizza was too Not wanting a refund or a new order, but some common courtesy and appreciation for the business would have gone a long way..At the end of the day I understand things happen and had she shown some type of compassion for a long-time customer that chose to spend my money at king's pizza. Best pizza in Michigan at the 15 mile store the 11 one while still ok pizza I won't order from there I go out of my way to go to the 15 mile one. Also for the guy above talking about having exact change. A couple of things one the driver doesn't even make minimum wage because they get tips, they are spending money on gas and LOTS of where and tear on there car so not only are you not giving them a tip your complaining about they silver change? Now if it was bills that's another story but they can't carry to much in them a did every e else before you took all there small bill they should off to bring your bill change back or you could just pay with you credit card too. I bet you don't even tip your waitress when you go out to eat at restaurants! So next time you should think twice about tipping your driver and not stiffing him. Oh and just for the record I don't work there not anymore that is it was years ago. But let me ask you a question if your wage was primarily all tip based even though you will treat everyone nice and friendly if you had to orders and one you know will tip you good if you get it there relatively fast but is far away and a close one who you know won't tip you at all and will take up your time who are you going to silver to first?
