Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I always go to this location and never had a issue. However today I go to location and order my normal taco sub with no tomatoes extra crushed taco Chips and salsa on the side. When I told the lady I wanted extra taco shells she proceeded to say I don’t have taco chips she proceeded to say in a rude way this is not Taco Bell. I say that was a rude comment you shouldn’t be talking to a customer like that. She proceeds to say I don’t care your a customer. I go to the register and pay for my order and I ask the guy working the register who was the manager and can I speak with him l. He was very nice and polite about the situation and apologized. Ask he is telling what I can do the lady then yells across the store I am the owner so what you don’t want your sub anymore. However a young lady that works there come back from break and I’m speaking to her about it, she apologized to me as well but then here come the rude lady(owner) talking to the employee what you apologizing for. Granted the young lady was trying to defuse the situation as she could see I was upset. If that lady is the owner Tubby corporation need to not allow her to use their name because she is most definitely making a bad name for tabby’s. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS TUBBYS. I have experienced unprofessional service and attitude from the same lady each visit. A shorter middle age caucasian woman that has a dirty blondish ponytail/hair bun. I use to go to this location weekly for dinner for my family. Now I go to the location a little further down Grosbeck near the dollar store, and have received much better service so far. I use to go to this location because the prices were slightly cheaper but that also comes with attitude, unfortunately. She has also given me regular subs when I have paid for jumbo subs, and instead of correcting the issue, she gets nasty. Check your orders before leaving or better yet, keep an eye out while she's cooking to ensure accuracy. As they saying goes, you get what you pay for! Cheaper isn't...

This place does not care about your personal information!!! I understand when you have to pay ahead when ordering a carryout. But be warned that the person taking my order today shouted my CC number, expiration date, and my zip code across the store to the cashier... she also had to repeat the info because the cashier couldn't hear her. I get the same thing from every tubbys and this sub had me sick to my stomach about an hour after eating.... 7 hours later and I'm still sad I ate that sub (I get a slightly healthier option also).
