I went in to order two Beyond Sausage Biscuits with a coupon for buy one get one I received in the mail and I originally planned to order more food with that but that was not going to happen with the level of service I received. The inside was not busy at all there was a couple who came in the same time I did and they said I could go first so I responded "Are you sure?" and they said yes go ahead so I did. I do not eat dairy or eggs so I asked if I could substitute for the sourdough bread which I've done at least four times at a different location with Never an issue and the lady on the register said no they can't ring it up that way. I said that is fine I'll just order it but I do not want the biscuits. She rang it up that way then told me the price which was the price for both. Assuming she forgot to enter the coupon I had gave her I said "Oh and the coupon." which I told her I had in the very beginning and she took before I started my order. She said no because I did not want a biscuit the coupon can't be used. I said that's fine ring it in normal and just note I don't want the biscuits because I would have to trash it and I do not want to waste it. She rings it in then leaves to get a key or swipe card and the couple behind me said " "Wow she must be grumpy this morning." referring to how she had been talking to me in a rude tone and being very unhelpful. I asked her a couple times in this order if I could just order the Beyond sausage alone for regular price because I did not see anything like that on the menu. Each time I asked that she just ignored me and seemed too busy ringing in my order. I then waited for my order and not once did I see her say anything to the kitchen staff about no biscuits or anything along that. I could see her bagging my order which was clearly wrapped biscuits she then called out my order and I turned around visibly upset and threw it away. I note that she was the one bagging my food so when she put it in the bag she knew that it was definitely biscuits being given to me. If someone else had bagged it I could see them not knowing I had asked for no biscuits. While I was leaving the couple that ordered behind me sympathetically waved goodbye to me. I have worked as crew and even a manager in fast food establishments so I am usually very sympathetic to how accidents happen and some times things get rang in wrong but my experience was inexcusable and I left nearly in tears from it. I am very upset by how unhelpful and rude she was. I never said anything harsh or mean to her. All I really want out of this is for someone to go over some customer care with the staff at this location. I do not plan on returning back to this...
Read moreHardee's is hands down my favorite fast food restaurant, however my family and I will never set foot in this location again. The first red flag was that three of the staff were huddled around the dumpster with the doors mostly closed - I only noticed them when we were parking and could see through the crack in the door. Without exaggeration it was very obvious that many of the staff, including the MANAGEMENT were on drugs. They were fighting amongst each other, and not subtly either - the manager was screaming at one of the staff right at the register because she was clocking out to go home. The other staff taking our order accidently comboed the first thing I asked for, when I told her I didn't want the combo she sighed and said "one sec" and went to the back, however, I could see her just standing back there hiding out. About two minutes later the manager that was yelling at the other lady wandered up from from another side of the store and just said, "What are you waiting for?". I told him what happened, so he started swiping his manager card to override the combo. It took him roughly six or seven swipes because he had the shakes so bad. Once he finally got it he just blankly stared at us for a bit then awkwardly asked what we wanted. That's when we left. We were disgusted and my kids were freaked out. We stopped more customers at the door to let them know. They didn't seem to believe us at first but they took one step inside the building, looked at the staff, heard them arguing, and pulled...

I ordered food that was completely inedible, so I called the store to see what my options were. I was told I could bring the food and the receipt in for a refund. When I arrived, I brought everything back exactly as instructed—only to be told that a refund was not an option.
What followed was incredibly unprofessional and escalated for no reason. The shift lead, Christina, refused to clearly communicate what she was doing. She took my card but didn’t tell me whether she was issuing a refund, and I never received a receipt. Ultimately, she called the police on me—for asking about a refund they told me I could get. I found out from the officer, after leaving the building, that she had processed the refund without ever saying a word to me.
Christina’s behavior was inappropriate and hostile. As a shift lead, she seriously lacks the training to handle customer concerns calmly and professionally. Her inability to communicate or de-escalate a very basic situation turned a refund request into a police matter—which was completely avoidable.
I later received a call from the corporate office. After reviewing the security footage, they admitted that Christina and the GM mishandled the entire situation and that it would be addressed internally.
No one should ever be treated like this over a simple refund...
