Very authentic. The first truly amazing Korean food and kimchi experience I've had in the United States. This may be a slight exaggeration as I last visit Korea 8 years ago, just know the food was wonderful. Run by Koreans, employs Koreans in all positions. Food truck 61 minutes to arrive which I admit is slightly longer than what it would take for Koreans in Korea to cook the food with a similarly small-sized kitchen, but this can be explained with the massive amount of customers more than 25 groups of which arrived in the hour that we were waiting. I greatly enjoyed every morsel. careful with the parking in back the back parking lot can hold 10 cars but the outlet IS inlealso thet which is only big enough for one car to fit through at a time. Because of that when we pulled in the parking lot was full and I had to slowly reverse all the way out and parked across the street. Workers don't speak perfect English but are very kind and and do very well, takeout containers can be found underneath the...
Read moreOh my goodness, the food here is delicious! Very clean place, kind owners/employees. When you walk in you order first and pick your own table to sit down at, they’ll give you a number and deliver your food to you when it’s ready. I ate here with my Korean friend to try out and they said it was legit Korean food (unsurprisingly). Their Online ordering option is also seamless and very efficient when I tried it out. Good system if you don’t wanna eat in.
I recommend speaking slightly louder when you order since the male owner that usually is at the front/ mans the register is on the older side, so it’s more difficult to hear.
I also HIGHLY recommend the desert rice pancakes, oh my god, SO good! It’s basically like a toasted pancake that’s filled with cinnamon sugar and chopped nuts (I think) topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. Seriously delicious. I hope one day they can expand their menu and offer more varieties of Korean food, I would love to try some soups or...
Read moreIt was delicious! I had #12 which was Bibimdap. This is a family owned restaurant and our office had our Christmas lunch there which was about 17 of us. We had appetizers of fried and steamed dumplings, shrimp tempura, fried sweet potatoes, and spring rolls. All were very good! The entrees came out pretty quickly considering it's just family working and they were so many orders! All of the entrees were heathy portions, so you might need a to-go box or bring your appetite! Everything tasted fresh and had great flavor. The drinks were serve yourself with free refills and you can eat with chop sticks if you prefer! They also have this delicious spicy (HOT) chili sauce that was super good on my bowl. I would eat it on everything! The prices are fair as well. Don't be put off by the small parking lot, it's worth the trouble getting in there. Next time you want to try something different, this is THE...
