I had a dispute with the Owner over our to go home order. We ordered the special: Steak & Chicken. When we got home, we found our plate missing 1 of the 2 components: Our Steak!!! Of course I call to discuss what my options are so I can hurry up & eat my dinner. The lady I was speaking to 1st, offered to make my steak & add it in to my box of food that’s already cold & not so fresh anymore. After giving her reasons why I think that’s unacceptable she then says she can have them remake the Chicken, Steak, & Fried Rice (I guess the noodles & veggies weren’t so important to remake as well). While she was telling me that, I can hear a man in the background saying “no only steak remake nothing else” so the lady apologizes & says “I can only make the steak, that’s all they’ll let me do.” I ask to speak to whoever is in charge & spoke with the owner, Steve. Oh boy, Steve must squeak when he walks because this man was not budging to give me any sort of refund/credit or remake my food that I paid full price for. Not once did he apologize, but proceeded to argue with me about him “remembering” the steak being put into the box because he was the “one who put it in there” I got nowhere with this man. It was a dead end & that’s sad to say considering this restaurant is a hometown favorite. It wasn’t even about the money, it was about the service & your customers getting what they pay for. We have spent hundreds, if not a couple thousand at this restaurant in the past few years & now they won’t get 1 cent from us or our loved ones who are upset about the situation too. I hope this situation doesn’t happen to someone else & if it does, I hope that Steve will at least handle it a lot more professional & will make the customer satisfied because after all when it comes to customer service, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION...
Read moreWe went to Shogun for Easter dinner. Probably should’ve went to Texas Roadhouse instead. Our meat was way over cooked. We asked for medium rare and got beef jerky. We also got 2 side orders of shrimp and only received 1 order. They definitely charged us for 2! The lady owner and her son were arguing with us in front of other customers. I don’t believe 16 pieces of shrimp is classified as 2 orders. We went ahead and paid the money. We have integrity and character. They never seem to get the meat cooked the way we ask for and like every time we go. I guess it’s wishful thinking that one day it’ll be cooked the way we ask for. The only thing I can say is the hostess that sat us down and the server we had were phenomenal. As for the owner and her son you shouldn’t charge customers for something they didn’t receive and learn better communication skills with your customers that have been giving you business religiously for years!! Your place has really gone down hill and you showed your true colors this evening. Your food isn’t worth the price you charge. We’ll be taking our business to Lubbock from now on. Definitely worth the drive for great food...
Read moreWe were regulars at this place but will not be returning. Unfortunately $100 for dinner that was over-cooked (meat was dry, rice was burnt) and the customer service that was given tonight when our concerns were expressed about being at the restaurant first and being forced to wait 15 minutes for another party to come before they’d start cooking ruined this place for us. They said “we aren’t sitting people in the private rooms” however when we pointed out that there was a party of 6 in the private room (mind you... we were a party of 5), they then backtracked and said “well we have to fill up the back room first” however the back room wasn’t full-there were 2 empty grills. These people lied to us and were very dismissive. Customer service is not a priority and according to past reviews on FB, one bad review will get you banned for life! An apology for the experience would’ve got you a long way instead of not even acknowledging it when we paid and walked out the door. Have spent a lot of money at this place for the number of times we have eaten there and to be treated so poorly even after they know we are there all the time.....Goodbye...
