Haven't been to DJ's in forever but it was my turn to pick supper and decided to get Bbq. I got the spicy sausage sandwich and my Husband decided upon the brisket sandwich and we got a tub of potato salad. Talk about taking me back to when my grandmother worked there. It was definitely delicious <although the potato salad was a bit too creamy for my Love's taste but great to mine lol> Bottom line- we've decided to add DJ's to our favorite spots to get take out and can't wait to try more of the options <we were kind of unsure of what to get so we just settled on sandwiches > Thank you for a great supper

The service was pretty good. The thing that makes BBQ magical is a pitmaster who can apply a good smoke flavor with a nice blend of spices as well. These 2 important things fell a little short during my visit. The beans seemed to be lacking in the "wow" factor and they were just plain beans. The cole slaw could have been better as well. Each day in BBQ can change so maybe this was just an off day.

We sadly did not take a picture of our food but we got the desert. I ordered the potato with meet and it will fill anybody up. The sliced brisket my wife got was very tender and good. Excellent friendly service.

I came in for the first time and no one else was there..I asked what's a big plate that will fill me up..they suggested the 3 meat plate..ok..cool..jalapeño sausage, sliced pork and chopped beef..2 sides, potatoe salad and cole slaw...large drink..$20..wow ok.. not alot if meat..knats flying around by the pickles and peppers...tiny amount of potatoes salad and cole slaw... came with 2 slices of bread.. wasn't impressed... still left hungry... I will pay for good bar b que.. but heck fill the...

We ordered 3 meat plates with double brisket & ribs. Plus, a baked potato with slices beef. We ordered BBQ sauce on the side for all, however didn't get any at all. Most of the brisket was dry. The ribs were dry & hard. The potato salad was like mashed potatoes with a little seasoning in them. The pinto beans were good. The baked potato was still hard. I ordered extra cheese & good thing because other wise I would only gotten about a teaspoon and half. I don't think we will order...
