I eat at this McDonald's several times per week during my lunch break (I work around the corner). The service at this location is great, and the food is at the same level as other locations; that is to say, you either like McDonald's food or you don’t.
That said, the restaurant has been seriously slacking in the area of cleanliness. My lunch break is a little late in the afternoon - between 2 and 3 - but even though it’s generally slow in the dining area at this time, the floors, tables, and ketchup dispensers are usually filthy, and the trash is always overflowing.
The worst - and what prompted me to write this - happened yesterday when I spotted a large, dead cockroach in the middle of the floor (see picture). I told one of the staff immediately and they said they would take care of it, but 35 minutes later, as I was getting up to leave, it was still there.
They also have a bad ant problem. I can’t sit in my favorite booth anymore because ants are crawling out of the wall and roaming around on the seat cushion. You can see them crawling around on the windowsill all along that wall, actually, no matter where you sit.
It’s Florida, and it’s almost impossible to keep bugs out of any residence or business, but this has me worried that their overall cleanliness is just terrible and getting worse. I hope they correct it soon because it’s starting to gross me out and I might make due with one of the other fast food...
Read moreI want to take a moment to shout out two amazing McDonald’s employees Aneka and Brittany who consistently go above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service. Every time I visit, they greet me with a smile, handle orders with care, and truly make customers feel valued. Their positive energy and professionalism deserve recognition!
However, I can’t overlook the unpleasant experience I had with the manager guy on of this location. While Aneka and Brittany are shining examples of what customer service should look like, the manager’s attitude is the complete opposite. He was rude, dismissive, and carried an energy that was honestly disturbing for someone in a leadership position. His approach not only made me uncomfortable but also took away from the great service provided by the rest of the team.
This is my neighborhood McDonald’s, and I come here often, so it’s disappointing to feel disrespected at a place I regularly support. It’s a shame that such hardworking and pleasant team members like Aneka and Brittany are being led by someone who lacks the basic qualities of a true leader.
McDonald’s you’ve got some real gems in your team, but leadership matters. I hope this gets addressed.

Read moreUnfortunately, it has terrible customer service. The self-service machines don't give you a receipt after you pay. It takes a long time to get you a meal. Even if you order a take in and have a number (tent) on the table, you have to pay attention to the pickup area because they put your meal over there with no warning or calling. After a quite while waiting patiently, you realize that your meal is over the counter and it is cold. Recently, I've been there 3 times, around 3 pm, on different days and different weeks, and every single time I had the same bad experience. In addition to the above mentioned, it was such a mess over the soda area. There were no straws, lids or napkins and it was messy and the garbage bins were overflowing. The staff were not very friendly and seemed to be very stressed, perhaps because there were plenty of customers both at the drive-through and inside the store with so few attendants.
