Don’t think I’ll be giving this place my business anymore... I postmated an “açaí” bowl as it’s stated on their menu. It says ‘Açaí bowls’ and then lists the different kinds. Once I received my bowl I spent $20 on after tax, tip and delivery fee’s I was immediately disappointed. It was a dull pink color- - not like the true dark purple açaí color. I took 2 bites and it tasted like blended ice with a hint of fruit and the fruit on top was below par- - the banana was overly ripe and brown and the pineapple was pale and flavorless... clearly not the freshest or best quality. Normally I would just let it go and eat It but because I spent $20 and it was my one cheat meal for the week I wasn’t going to settle for just plain bad so I drove it back to the store to replace it. I was met with condescending attitude and gas lighting by 3 young teenage girls. Instead of wanting to be helpful and give spectacular customer service to insure repeat business (because let’s face it, with the world the way it is now because of the coronavirus, small businesses really need the customers to stay in business...) it was apparent they cared more about their egos and arguing than trying to make the customer happy and feel like my business was important and wanted. All they wanted to do is “price me wrong” and gas light me as if I were stupid for not knowing the bowls were not solely açaí and were blended. If it isn't an actual açaí bowl and it is more blended with other fruits to the point of tasting nothing like an açaí bowl then the menu shouldn’t offer it as “Açaí bowls”... The one girl started preparing me a different bowl while the other one kept talking to me as if I were stupid reinstating how the bowls weren’t actual açaí bowls and were blended, trying to explain to me what an actual açaí bowl was (I’m a 35yr old woman who’s been eating them for years. I know what an açaí bowl is) and how I should go to boca for what I wanted. I live in West Coconut creek and Postmates doesn’t deliver to me from east Boca... regardless, the hostility I was met with will 💯 ensure I will never go back to this place again. If I owned a business I definitely would not leave all young immature children to run it with their egos... that’s a sure fire way to ensure you loose customers. After all the trouble and inconvenience, the new bowl they gave me was no better. Their bowls just have zero flavor. Not...
Read moreSome basic Courtesy please, I had just finished walking the mall as usual. So thought I’d like to enjoy a blended drink having seen your store sign on other occasions at about 2pm Saturday 8/17/19. Naturally I reviewed the menu selection and ordered from a silent staff member, ok so maybe new at customer service I thought, no biggie! So after putting 2$ in the tip jar, headed over to the pick up area observing a different person a tall young woman with dark curly hair preparing a bag for me, so again no interaction and no issue, hey maybe their simply busy I told myself. This was despite me being the only customer being served at that point.
*So here is the problem: As I stood face to face and looked the server behind the counter directly in the eye yes I made eye contact and asked in a clear voice, how much is the juice cleanse that btw was shown prominently in the display case, yet no price displayed on the menu or shelves. She looked at me and said, and I quote, “Are you talking to yourself?” I responded no, actually I’m asking you a question. After a small smirk, yes she did smirk, I was given the price. Taken aback, I thanked her grabbed my bag and left quickly.
I had no cell phone out the entire time and I was clearly not on the cell phone/ no ear buds either.
You know as a savvy customer I don’t expect much these days, and after all I’m sure your staff is , “Trained in customer service,” and a cool casual approach is trendy. However it seems odd to me she did not apologize, or show any reaction beyond a smirk when delivering this gem, really come on ! As far as banana berry bowl product well I paid for $8.75 for it was pretty good a little pricey but satisfying. So the wind up is I would think, “Customer service” should be a basic even a main goal in a business , as it’s a particularly high customer in the Promenade mall . Hey I get it, and I don’t really care if they/ the servers smile ; say please, or even thank you or interact with me, just don’t offend. Any how, just thought I throw my 2 cents in and thank you looks like a great location for you . BTW I was dressed casually work out outfit etc. but not anyone who would be stereotypically talking to themselves...

However, there continues to be issues with online orders at this location. I ask for granola on the side, they put it in the bowl and give me extra on top. I don't want it in the bowl. I paid extra for peanut butter drizzle and I got a lump of peanut butter on the top of my bowl. It was not worth $1.50. I keep hoping those making these items will be more attentive but it doesn't look like that's the case. I emailed management & have not had any response from from reviews or emails. Although I enjoy Nekter Juice & it is convenient, it might be time for me to find another juice place nearby. I'm willing to continue supporting this business if management contacts me regarding the issues. If I don't hear from them, I'll take that as a sign that these reviews don't carry much weight. FIRST REVIEW: I 💖 Nekter. It's convenient & fresh. I usually request small modifications on my order & they are often unfulfilled...ie requested Hemp Granola on the side & it was in my order. It would be great for the staff to take time to read the...
