I ordered at the location for a take out order on 1/26/2024. I normally order on the app but I decided to take this route instead. I ordered an Ancient Grain Salad with "grilled" chicken. I grabbed my items (yes, I did order other stuff, but I had issues with this particular item) and noticed that the wrong chicken was given to me. It looked boiled and seasoned with only black pepper. It was not appeasing whatsoever. I kindly spoke to the girl that was packing the food and informed her that I told the cashier, "grilled" chicken. The packaging girl looked around for the cashier to ask her if she took the order... The cashier saw the mistake and proceeded to speak with, who I believe, is the manager. I'm waiting and I was told that I had to pay an upcharge of $3. Excuse me, but it is not my fault that the order was rung up incorrectly... The manager told me that the grilled chicken is MORE than this pale cup of chicken... I've ordered this exact salad and was told this before BUT I've never had the chance to actually compare those two items until today. I can honestly say that the boiled chicken is greatly portioned than the grilled chicken so that right there is a great lie! Now that I know the truth, I will not be ordering the grilled chicken because I am definitely not getting "more" chicken. In addition, I informed the cashier that I did not want the candied pecans and asked if I could change it for something else... The cashier told me that I could have more avocado. I did NOT get more avocado. This is the exact amount that I get on a normal basis. The worst part about it, not ONE staff member apologized for the inconvenient regarding the chicken. As a former manager of 2 restaurant chains, if an employee makes a mistake, you apologize and fix it. The manager was not friendly and she seemed bothered with me for asking for a refund. I couldn't wait for the grilled chicken since I had already waited 20 minutes for my original order so I proceeded asked for a refund on the chicken... Finally, I couldn't get a refund on the tip and it was based upon the original amount... At this point, I am highly disappointed with this place after finding out the portions and the truth behind the prices on these different types...
   Read moreMy husband and I tried Carrot Express for the very first time on Sunday, August 13, 2023, and we loved it. We went to the one located, in Coconut Creek inside of the Promenade. And my husband and I had the sweet potato đ fries with the green salad and the chicken Cesar wrap, man oh! Man was our meal amazingly good it was almost like my Father in heaven prepared that meal for us himself wow!!!!. And the inside of the restaurant was so clean and beautiful and the two cashiers who took our order and served us were so kind, gentle, and respectful I just loved those two young ladies. I asked for some ketchup for my fries and one of the ladies respectfully told me â Iâm sorry weâre all out of ketchupâ My husband and I were like âOkay no problemâ but guess what she did within 0.00 seconds, she came out with this sauce that was 100xâs better than any ketchup ever!!! made, my husband and I almost fell off our seats thatâs just how amazingly delicious the sauce was and the green sauce we were given for our âGreen Saladâ was also amazingly delicious. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would have done so in a heartbeat because honey it is the place to eat when it comes to all your healthy eating needs and cravings Carrot Express is added to my list of âfavorite restaurantsâ and I will be coming back because I am now hooked and in love!.    Read moreThis place has great food donât get me wrong.. however their staff and the way the store is run is a complete disappointment. On a Monday they close @9:00 pm. My boyfriend and I call them to place a pick up order 4 TIMES at 8:40 PM. Twenty minutes prior to their closing time. No one answered. We figured maybe something was off with their phone line so we went in (we live across the street). My boyfriend arrived at 8:50. ten minutes prior to their closing time; they were open BUT according to the staff our order could not be taken and they were âclosed due to a machine issueâ.
If they truly were closed âdue to a machine issueâ they should answer the phone and make their customers aware.
If this machine issue was made up out of pure laziness seeing that the time we called was close to closing time (20 min) and the employees didnât want to be bothered you should probably hire employees that are more invested in your business rather than the employees you currently have who are turning...
