Texas Roadhouse is a favorite of my family, but tonight I was by myself. I went at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. The place was slammed, and the wait was very long. There were people everywhere waiting for tables. Sharon greeted me at the door and offered me a spot at the full service bar. I can't tell you how much I appreciate her for doing that. What a blessing it turned out to be! Normally that's not my preference, and I would be unlikely consider it on my own, as I find that an older woman sitting at the bar for dinner alone generally doesn't get good service, especially when a place is slammed. But since I didn't want to wait, it seemed like a good plan, and it was. I was seated immediately. Honestly, I wasn't expecting stellar service, but Jared, the bartender, proved me so wrong! He was with me quickly and got me a menu and a drink in moments. He was very busy and working hard but also very efficiently. It was really something to watch. I was able to order right away and my meal came quickly and was perfectly paced. I ordered the rib-eye and ribs combo with a salad and green beans. The steak was perfectly cooked. I won't discuss quality because you cannot get a good steak in this area anymore. Even prime when you find it is bottom of the category. I hold this against supply but not against restaurants. It's just not their fault. If I cant get highest quality from my Publix or my butcher, then how can I ask that of a restaurant? The meat was tender and tasty. That's what I require and it's what I got. The salad was fresh (crispy lettuce, sweet tomatoes, eggs, cheese, and crunchy but not hard croutons. The green beans were Southern style with onions and bacon, very tasty! My oh-so-delicious yeast rolls with cinnamon-margarine were delivered right after I sat down, even before I ordered a drink. No less than 6 people that I saw helped me get seated, took my order, served my meal, (and more behind the scene, cooking and cleaning). They worked seamlessly together together to ensure not only a great meal but a good experience. So extra thanks to you, Sharon and Jared for being the best at what you do tonight! And thank you Texas Riadhouse!...
Read moreI absolutely loved my first experience here. A few days ago, I visited this location with my mom, and Karen was hands down the best server I’ve had in a long time. She was down-to-earth, knowledgeable about the menu, offered excellent suggestions, and made me feel like a friend.
Because of this amazing experience, I returned a couple of days later with a friend. This time, Lori was our server. While she provided okay service, there was no warmth or personality, and it honestly felt like she was relieved when we left. 🥹
That being said, I have to commend the attentiveness of the entire staff. From the bartender to the gentleman walking around with the microphone headset who checked in on tables to ensure everyone was satisfied, the team truly works hard to create a welcoming atmosphere. The ladies at the front were incredibly kind, and the vibe of the place is just beautiful.
The fun doesn’t stop there—they break out into a line dance routine every half an hour, which adds so much energy and excitement. The music is fantastic, the atmosphere is vibrant, and the food is consistently delicious. (The 12 oz ribeye medium well, OMG amazing, try adding the sautéed mushroom and onions, it’s the perfect combination.) The fried pickles are a little salty but who cares, it’s comfort food. The mixed drinks are not strong so I’ll stick to beer going forward, but that’s ok, still no big deal) I will definitely be coming back again and again. Moving forward, I’ll make sure to request Karen—or someone with the same enthusiasm and friendliness your team is known for. This place...
Read moreMy family & I frequent this location every other week or so, we are local & the food is always very good, as well as the service. Today we went for my mother-in-law’s birthday, we get the same items every time but my mil likes to box hers to-go as soon as it comes out & eat off the sides. It’s her preference, no big deal we still enjoy being out & she still orders & is a paying customer. Today we brought my 10 month old who was visibly just not having it so we proceeded to all box our food up as well, not too long after getting it. No complaints, we just wanted to leave before my daughter had a meltdown. Lori was our server & she was very annoyed either at how we were doing things or my daughter being a little bit more on the fussy side. She noticeably changed when we asked for boxes, got very serious & was extremely rude. My mil would take the rolls there over cake any day so my husband asked for a few to go, that sent her over the edge. She brought the rolls but proceeded to drop them aggressively on the table. We then paid on the kiosk device & she brought over the receipt & rudely tossed it at my mil. We were all in shock at the way things had transpired & were just confused. It was a $100 bill, we ordered enough to warrant a few extra rolls. She was acting like it was coming out of her paycheck or something. Extremely rude & will never let her be our server again. Definitely recommend going there for the food, just don’t recommend ever letting Lori be...
