Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Cold Spring

Every time I visit this location during the day or night. The fries are always barely cooked. The chicken is fine. The last time I was there was my final straw. Drive thru order. Specifically asked for there signature sauce, AS WELL AS HONEY MUSTARD. Then when I approached the pick up window I asked the gentleman who had just bagged up my order if all the sauces were there even the honey mustard to which he said yes they are. So taking a man for his word I drive the 20 minutes home. And the sauce wasn't there. Now of course I would be fine with this it is what it is. But the misses not to much. As of course I get told I should of checked the bag. I've also picked up and took the order 5 minutes down the street to my place of work and same thing cold barely cooked fries. So no the 20 minute drive isn't why the fries were cold. I get it college kids working who probably don't care except for a paycheck and to get out. But come on if you can't handle food service find a new job. Because this is not the one for you. Get it together and represent the brand. I have never had this issue at your competition Guthrie's. I ordered 3 box combo meals and when i got home none of them had any bread. One of my family's favorite parts of cane's meals. My bad for not checking my order. However, i shouldn't have to check. It's there job to get it correct! Being that i have been in the food industry for 34 years it's not that difficult! So, i call the restaurant and got Emily and i asked her just to be sure if i was to get bread with my combos. She chuckles and says yes. Almost as she already knew this may have happened. Perhaps with other orders besides mine. So with that said she offers to give me credit on the bread the next time i come back. Credit on bread. Really! The offer should have been better than that. Perhaps a free meal. Thing is i wont be back and i am sick and tired of such bad service and the lack of true customer service. Seems to be getting worse in this and other industries. It truly is just simple things that keep people coming back. I could really see a mistake if they were busy. They weren't. Just 3 cars ahead of...

Raising canes is simplistic chicken and fries , which is its saving grace and it's biggest weakness at the same time . Now don't get me wrong , these are some of the best chicken strips around , but that's literally all they have ( fries , coleslaw, Texas toast and soft drinks including tea and lemonade.) There is no variety beyond the simple menu except the amount of food you get in each meal.

That was the weakness as I'm the type that likes a little variety , and a salad on the menu couldn't hurt ( or some pickles to go with that delish chicken ) The strips are phenomenal but I can't stand there canes sauce on a personal level (some bbq and ranch wouldn't hurt now and then ) but none of the above ever stops me from getting a "caniac" combo every time. I could eat one of those once a week , but I need some variety once in awhile. I honestly might be back more often if they had something new to look forward too every once in a while. Very good...
