After going to the milk and honey in Bowie, I've decided I wanted to finally do a review. Both places had wonderful friendly wait staff. College Park M &H will be my number one place of service from here on out. The pictures that are posted are of both places the ones on the table where the food is not been touched at all is College Park, the one in the bag is Bowie, and the one with the chicken and gravy where we split the meal in half. Differences My sister and I went together, and we shared the Rum chata French toast as an appetizer, we asked that it be brought before the meal. This place brought it out, and then once we were most of the way through, they brought out our hot honey lemon spice chicken sandwich. Both meals were excellent, they were hot, the food was plentiful for the price, and we even took food home. Excellent service the waitress let us know what was popular, and she checked on us one or two times ,then let us know if we needed anything, just wave her over. The whole process it was wonderful. While this was a smaller establishment, the air quality was just right it wasn't too cold it wasn't too hot. There was a sense of home touch to this restaurant. Bowie- we had a wonderful waitress bubbly personality without coming on too strong, we asked for the rum french toast before the meal as an appetizer, and it came out maybe 2 min before the main course. I rushed to eat that, in order to get the next meal before it got cold. The chicken biscuits and eggs with Cajun sauce while it tasted good the food was not hot and there was not much buffalo sauce or Cajun sauce or neither the biscuit or the chicken. We asked for a french toast to take home, and we did this all in the beginning. The French toast was not as plentiful as the one from College Park, and the French toast that we ate inside the restaurant was not as hot. There were fewer berries on there and less rum cream. So essentially, this is just something I could have gotten at home. This is a bigger place smaller portion, and the AC was way too cold. I am a big person and I usually like cold AC but this was beyond cold. The rum french toast that we got to take home they put some syrup at the bottom of the bag, and it came out everywhere. While my main waitress was awesome, we kept having several other people asking if everything was good, are we okay, there was too much interruption. I do not want to get anybody in trouble, so when the lady came and asked everything okay, I said yeah. My sister and I go to different places for the experience to see what we like and then we post on it. Therefore, we will never complain about the service no matter what it is. Aside from the things that I mentioned about this particular place, you might have a different experience, so I implore try both places out.

Surprised at how delicious this food was!!! Breakfast is probably my favorite meal. Who doesn't love breakfast foods??? Sweet, savory, salty, spicy, and sometimes all in the same dish. Breakfast and brunch places, especially on the weekend, tend to be food factories. Not Milk and Honey in College Park. Everything was made from scratch and skillfully prepared. I had the Jumbo Smothered Chicken and Biscuits. I'm not sure why is called jumbo because the serving size seemed average; two pieces of fried chicken, one large biscuit, cheesey scrambled eggs, and Cajun sauce; but it was just the right size and portion for me, and was DELICIOUS š. I was really looking forward to the biscuit because while we were waiting for our table I saw several servings passing by for othe orders, and they looked large, fluffy, golden brown, and the tops were glistening with a light honey butter glaze that almost made me ask to order some while we were waiting to he seated. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy with just the right amount of cheese so that they weren't too cakey and gooey, but complemented the biscuits well. The chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and moist and soft on the inside, not overcooked and dry. BUT, the absolute star of the dish was that Cajun sauce!!!! This brown buttery lightly spiced sauce paired perfectly with the eggs, chicken, and the biscuit, and next time I go, I'm definitely, definitely, definitely asking for extra sauce. I dinged one star because one of our plates didn't arrive until we were nearly done eating, but to be fair, I attacked mine fairly fast, so what seemed like forever was probably just about 5 minutes, but when everyone at the table is served except for one, and it takes another 5 minutes for that plate to arrive, it's noticeable. Not sure what happened, and didn't want to make a big deal of it. The plate that was late was the Rumchatta waffles, and from what I could see, it was well worth the wait because it was gone before I could ask how it tasted. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, and indoor only has about 15 tables, so if you arrive on a weekend, expect to wait, but don't let that discourage you, it's worth the wait.

During my recent visit, I experienced a less than pleasurable experience that left me feeling underwhelmed. Despite the restaurant's hype, I would not return. I wouldnāt though turn others from visiting, to each their own. Firstly, the two-hour wait was not worth it. Although the small size of the restaurant might have contributed to the wait time, it was not a pleasant experience. Once inside, we noticed that the glasses for our mimosas were dirty. However, our waitress was kind and immediately took them back, and saved us some funds by recommending the bottle. A few of us inquired about the crab Benedict, itās a popular item in reviews but we didnāt see it on the menu. Our waitress told us it was available and took everyone's order, only to come back ten minutes later and tell us they did not have it. I ended up getting the shrimp and grits, which was good, but nothing to rave about. Another member of my group got the catfish and grits, but we realized too late that it was not the same meal as mine. Instead, it was literally just catfish with a side of grits. It was supposed to come with cheese grits, but she received regular grits after they told my friend she couldn't get regular grits because āitās premade.ā It was also missing the fried green tomatoes. We assumed they made everything fresh, but that was not the case. Two of us would have liked to have a little side of crab on top of the meal we ordered since the Benedict wasnāt available but were left confused when the manager told us it would be $24 to add crab?! My meal wasnāt even $24?? I wish that she would have maybe taken a second to explain the cost like was it going to be a whole crab cake on the side? My friend got the rum chata French toast and said it was underwhelming and that if she didnāt know she ordered it she would have assumed it was a regular French toast. We found it interesting that the French toast came with no sides. The young lady who brought our food out did not know what was what and had no idea which plate belonged to whom. When we asked her, she replied that she didn't know and was just bringing the food over. Additionally, when she brought out one of the plates, she did not walk around the table and hand it to my friend; instead, she wanted us to pass the plate around the table resulting in my friends food nearly landing entirely in her lap. She bought over what she thought was the last plate and didnāt check to see if everyone had everything. Luckily for my I guess we had already briefly spoken with someone who was said to be a manager and she came and asked did we have everything and I let her know I did not have my food. She went and got it. It seems that perhaps overall some extra training would be beneficial for the waiting and serving staff. The restaurant and bathroom were overall very clean and well kept. Parking is small and limited but there is additional parking not too far away by other establishments. Although the mimosas were good, most of my party did enjoy their food and the music and overall vibe were enjoyable, I personally would not return to this restaurant. I am glad I tried it once, but the subpar service and extremely long wait time is just not worth it to me.

3.20.22 I received a reply from milk and Honey. NO, it was not in Georgia. I am confused why you thought I was at a GA location. But nope please see below for more details. It was the college park, md location. I was parked in front of the location when I called. Because I saw the restaurant was so busy. The woman told me they do not take phone orders number one and that it was for first come first serve as if to imply only sit in. I even went to website to see if she was telling the truth. There was a call the delivery options (but im in front of restaurant) and company button but i just called and was told THAT location does not take those orders. And I say THAT location because I went to the one in bowie MD. Called and told them I was at the COLLEGE PARK, MD and told they do not take pick up orders. she was busy so I still had the impression they might not either. So I drove there and was going to wait because I will not be going to the College park, mf location again as in the moment I felt she was lying and just did not want to take the order. Even though College park is closer that particular location has lost all my future business. Dont get me wrong, Milk and Honey has good food and no one should be deterred from trying. This was my experience with the business not regarding food. And wether they do or dont take orders does not matter to me now. I do not trust them and I mean what i say. THAT location just wont receive my patronage but I will still eat it Milk and Honey locations. I reread my old review from years ago. There motto that was on their menu "We guarantee great food everything else is up too chance" lol made me laugh and wanted to share that. 3.19.22 Can someone verify if Colkege park location is not doing pick-up. I called for togo and what she said was first come first serve and no phone orders. She did not clarify if that was just one weekends between brunch rush or not. Some years ago: Milk and Honey is busy. Really good but BUSY. I went to eat and waited to be seated. Almost most the staff did not acknowledge me but 1 person. My server acknowledged me last after he he passed me 5 time a before he said hi I'll be with you and passed me again several more times before he actually came to me. The tables are close together and there are not many in the small building. That being said when the server was able to get to me he gave a me an oreo cupcake which was super moist and tasty and I LOVE cake. And took off the cranberry juice I ordered. I ordered the salmon with cheesy hash browns and greens. It was delicious. They pour this creamy creole sauce over top. If your watching your weight don't eat here. You could see the oil and grease from everything. Did that stop me, heck no! Absolutely delicious. It was $17 which was on the cheaper end of their brunch menu options but better than I thought. Really great food not great service when it's busy. What I like is on the menu they let you know "We guarantee great food. Everything else is up to chance" great food it was. Good luck!

Once bitten twice shy!!!! Can't speak for every location but this one was a big disappointment. My niece visited a different location and was quite impressed. She told me the sweet potato waffles were to die for. Getting in was easy, seating was close but ok. My only complaint was the people beside us has a toddler that they gave a cell phone to keep him occupied. He was playing with the volume up and no headphones. My guest ordered shrimp and grits and I ordered Cajun shrimp pasta. The food came out after a long wait. We finisheded the drinks we were served and never offered anymore. The shrimp and grits had a lake of oil on the top, we have to request a spoon and saucer to dip it off. My pasta was prepared by Lot's wife( talk about salty)! And it had 3 massive lemon circle mixed in. I could've made lemonade while waiting on another drink. I forgot to mention to get the bowl and spoon I had to walk to the counter and ask. I had to track down the server every time I needed anything. While getting additional napkins I asked the server if the sweet potato waffles discontinued? I told her I didn't see it on the regular menu. She informed me that it was on a separate card and then stated there wasn't one on your table. Then she asked me if I wanted an order of them? I did order it because everything else was bad. When they came out I will admit they were good. After eating part of them then we were ready to go, we waited 25 minutes minutes for the server to come back to the table so I can request a box and the check. There wasn't anyone that even glanced our way that I could request a check from. There was a couple sitting beside me who were waiting 15 minutes to get straws finally the gentleman went to get his own straws. I told him he may have to step in the kitchen and get his own food as well.. I normally don't upload pictures but I have to do it this time. I definitely will not be returned into this location.. When you look at the pictures I will place what the food was supposed to look like 1st and then the picture of what we receive..
