I would’ve put a zero, but there was no choice to be made as I walked in I had noticed how everything was unprofessional and outdated. The floor tiles were chipped. The gumball machines were scratched all to Heck. The doors had fingerprints and goo on it as we walked in I got scared and hesitated, but thought I would at least sit down because I was exhausted from our trip, and I just wanting to have something hot to eat. I got in line because I figured we would eat something fresh so I ordered hibachi grill with steak and shrimp, onions, green peppers, and so on well as I noticed when I sat down after he had handed it to me, I started looking at my shrimp, and there was feces all in the shrimp I also had gotten the salt and pepper shrimp that had feces all in the tail. My son said the steak tasted like rubber, and it had a bitter off taste, which really did that in for me, knowing that my son is blind, and he deserves to have the best of foods and somebody telling him what’s in his food, this really blew me away, and as I was walking up to the bar, I noticed the food Did not look good. At that point I decided we’re leaving I raised up assisted my son out and took pictures on the way out because I was just disgusted that I had even given this place an opportunity for our business very unsatisfied and I think it should be shut down For future remodeling and health concerns need to be addressed.

Let me tell you something—do not come to this place to eat. The food is absolutely terrible and not worth the money. On top of that, they overcharge people for meals they clearly don’t know how to cook. The steak was as tough as rubber, and the crab looked like some kind of monster from another planet. Most of the other food looked artificially colored, like it had been painted. Every plate I picked up had stains on it, as if their dishwashing machine was broken. As for the drinks, their sweet tea was so sugary it could send someone straight into a diabetic coma, and every soda I tried was completely flat. Lastly, the service was just as bad as the food. Our server never came back to offer drink refills or check on us at all. On top of that, the wait time was ridiculously long. And to make matters worse, the whole meal cost me $200 for my family—an outrageous price for such a terrible experience. I was completely disgusted! Save your money and go somewhere else—this place is not it!

I came here yesterday and nonetheless my boyfriend found hair in his food. After talking to the server she tried to deny the fact that it was hair then when I spoke to the manager she said it’s because kids come in and when they grab food sometimes their hair falls in the food and that she would put new rice out. It honestly made my boyfriend and I lose our appetite. I didn’t even finish the one plate that I grabbed because the food was cold, not many options and just honestly a waste of money. After asking for a refund I was denied a refund and then told I’d only get a partial refund because we had already sat down and ate.(which I didn’t receive because I paid with Apple Pay and she claimed I needed my actual card to receive the partial refund) Not to mention she was counting the plates so she was obviously watching our table. We didn’t come here to pay for plates we came here to enjoy some food and didn’t enjoy anything. I do not recommend.

BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES!!!!!!

Last sunday my family and I decided to have dinner at Sakura we have the most horrible experience, our group was of 8 people and at the time of payment they charged almost $16.00 MORE without ask or say anything they didn't give the receipt with details they only gave the card's receipt. When we asked why they were charging us more is when they gave us the receipt and we discovered the HIDDEN EXTRA CHARGE The cashier explained to us that for a group of six or more they add the tip to the bill. I told him that it seems good to me, but what it does not seem good to me is that they have charged me without telling me. He said ok and when to talk to the waitress I don't know what they were saying because they were speaking in their language. After that the waitress started to be so rude, we always leave $5 tip per per person and we were 8 people so she will get $40 tip but she was so mean even she didn't bring the fortune cookies because I believe she thought we won't give her tip because they already charged $16 tip on the bill so she didn't see any reason to bring the cookies. I aks her: "Can you bring the cookies because we going to leave soon?" She say "yes" in a rude manner and stared talking with another waitress again in their language and looking us making faces. So she never bring the cookies and we decided to leave without giving her more tip. The amount of money that we paid that day was $174 I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect specially when you going to eat, it has to be in peace.

We never going to come back...

Today was my first time coming back here after several years and it was okay, but definitely needs some improvements. The food selection was decent and we went on a Saturday night so they had a decent crowd and a good turnover on their food trays. The hibachi was the best thing. One of my usual Chinese buffet favorites, the stuffed crab shell, was disappointing here. It lacked flavor and meat. According to the people at my table, the crabs today were meaty and sweet and the oysters were fresh as well. So Saturday evenings are probably best for fresh seafood. All the other food I had was average. Their deserts were not particularly good, but they had a good assortment of fruits which was nice. Service for plate removal and drink refills was good as well.

The biggest problem with this place is the atmosphere. The music is too loud. The floor all around the entrance up to the counter was sticky. The table was not cleaned well. Several of their high chairs were broken (missing straps... which is a huge safety liability), and the high chair they finally gave us that wasn't broken was filthy.

Their bathroom was dirty as well though I will give them props for closing it for cleaning later on.

Overall, this place is fine if you're looking for sheer quantity and mostly average food. But their cleanliness is lacking which makes you wonder whether that is also the case in the kitchen. If they did a better job keeping the public areas clean and maybe even updated their furniture, it would give a much better impression...

I recently visited Sakura Seafood Buffet in College Park, MD, and it was an incredible dining experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the spacious and inviting atmosphere. The decor is modern and clean, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.

The buffet selection was truly impressive, especially for seafood lovers! I was delighted to find a wide array of fresh options, including sushi, crab legs, shrimp, and various fish dishes. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The sushi was fresh and expertly made, with a variety of rolls to choose from.

In addition to seafood, there were plenty of other delicious options, including Asian dishes, grilled meats, and a variety of sides. The stir-fried vegetables and dumplings were particularly noteworthy!

The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our drinks were always filled and that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming, making it a great spot for both families and friends gathering together.

For dessert, I highly recommend trying the mochi and the assorted pastries! They were the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal.

Overall, Sakura Seafood Buffet exceeded my expectations with its diverse menu, great service, and inviting ambiance. If you’re in the College Park area and craving seafood, this is definitely the place to go. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their...
