It's a no frills, typical roadside diner that you would expect to find on a long cross country drive. I saw the overall ratings and decided to give it a try since I was in the area, pulled up and almost changed my mind but kept an open mind and went inside. Greeted with a seat yourself and someone will be with ya. There's about a dozen old school booths and counter seats and the grill right up front. Limited menu, but stick with the diner basics. I got the patty melt, pictured below. It was good, hot and not a long wait and at a great price. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop by again, but it's worth the stop if you're into diner food and atmosphere.

I'd heard good things about College Park Diner, so I finally decided to check it out. I came in on a random Tuesday around 10am. The place wasn't too busy, but it took longer than expected to be seated. Right away, I noticed the table and floors were sticky, which made me a little uneasy about the overall cleanliness. I kept my order simple with a classic bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel--but honestly, it didn't live up to the hype. The wait for food was surprisingly long, and when it finally arrived, the bagel was burnt. Safe to say, I'll just be making this at home next time.

I love breakfast food so I specifically searched the area around me for good breakfast spots. This one did not disappoint one bit. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere of the diner was teeming with energy. The picture attached shows what I ended up getting, both were delicious (Western omelette with grits, and a french toast kids meal). I would definitely return to this place again. One of the coolest things about this place is that the kitchen is open-air, so you can see them cook right in front of you. Do yourself a favor and go.

I read about this place and passed by it not too long ago. I had been hoping for a good local diner to try. This was one of 2 that popped up. I just moved here 2 weeks ago.

It seemed to be self seating and I double checked with the guy at the counter who brusquely said it was. Okay. No big deal becauseit was a little busy. All of us have trying days sometimes. I found a seat in the corner right by the coffee station. I didn't get a menu and didn't get asked about anything for a bit. A very nice girl whom I found out later was named Shiroj ask me what I would like to drink and got me.a menu with some silverware.

Brusque Dude finally asked me what I'd like and he had mellowed slightly. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and an order of onion rings. Took the guy a while to check on me but Shiroj did. She was a sweetheart. The burger was ok. Nothing I'd crave to order again. The food was hot and I appreciated that.

I took a chance and ordered a slice of pecan pie. I had asked Shiroj first because she checked on me and she got Brusque Dude's attention. He said he'd check if they still had some. I said no problem and thanked him for double-checking. He said they still have the pie and that he'd get it out. That was the last I heard from him. Shiroj asked me if I got my pie which I said I did not. She apologized and very nicely told me that there was a shift change and that it looks like it was overlooked. There was another nice woman that came on shift who apologized also and said they were out of pecan pie. I told them just to let it go and I would like my check. I made it a point to give Shiroj the tip in cash in her hand. I told her how much I appreciated her checking on me and initially getting me the menu and silverware.

I was told that my check was waiting at the register up front. The girl at the front was swamped. I was patiently waiting because I know how frustrating it can be to get swamped. I told them that the pecan pie never arrived and to just please double check that it wasn't on my check. After I said that, guess who came wheeling around the corner? You got it. Brusque Dude. I guess he survived shift change. It took me forever to get checked out. I also wanted a printed receipt and I had to wait through a couple of customers to be checked out to get it.

So I won't be visiting again but appreciate Shiroj (I am sorry if I am horribly misspelling her name) and the lady who cleaned up tables for...

Saw this place from the outside and anticipated something akin to a true New Jersey classic diner experience. I was wrong. The waitress was pleasant and efficient enough but the food was mediocre (I am being polite) and overpriced. The French toast with warm maple syrup is made with very thin bread and the maple syrup comes in the same pour your own bottle you see at IHOP and isn't warm. The potato sides were bland whether they were hash brown style or home fries style. The scrambled egg was beaten with two, maybe three whisks of a fork. It was almost as if someone took a hardboiled egg and chopped it up. Fancy breakfast experiences that charge $17 for a make your own omelet offer a wide variety of options but this place does not know from any cheese that isn't American or cheddar nor any green veg that isn't green peppers. If you are hoping for a classic spinach and feta, you will be disappointed.

There was also a smell because they were cleaning something which, yay, glad you are trying to keep things clean but also, not what you want to smell when eating.

There was an IHOP up the road in one direction and a Denny's down the road in the other direction and the food would have been better and for the same...

The website link for Milk and Honey in College Park MD was messed up and some how my order went to College Park GA. I find it unacceptable that college park in maryland will not accept over the phone orders and the websites for both of these locations is very unclear and should be seperated.

When I spoke to The Director of Communications Belinda Joy Lathan was very rude and inconsiderate. She refused to refund me for the order placed in the wrong state $44 after I made a new $44 purchase at the one in MD. I've never met an establishment ran like this who didn't care about their customers. Sad part os I've bought here several times. Its especially sad to see them take peoples money during a time like this (COVID) where businesses are shut down and people need their funds. You think you're doing good by helping support a business by being a patron and you turn around and get treated like this. I am very displeased. Also the staff don't seem treated well at the college park location, its starting to get ran down they are only working out of a small kitchen, wait times are long. The food is good but after being treated this way me and anyone I know will not be spending our hard...
