Always a two star experience. But today is a special day. See attached photos.
Reality looses its grip at this location. The product served rarely, if ever, matches the marketing hype surrounding it. Reminds me of a kid's show where the challenge is to match look-a-like items or to determine which item is not like the other. The latter applies to Del Taco College Place.
In fact, your order will never look like the menu pic. Expect your order to be underportioned, underprepared, and overpriced.
Four The Del Tacos and two large drinks cost $18. What?! Adding insult to the already disappointing experience was the quality control. Ehh? None.
The portion sizes are public record so, come prepared for a value war if you're dissatisfied. Or, do as I do. Photo and review. There are multiple other options for Mexican fare available 4 miles further east on WA 125 on the 9th St corridor in Walla Walla, or take Myra Rd north to Rose St from WA 125 to Mi Pueblito. Use maps to locate and compare your options. No need to settle. Bon Appétit!

Read moreWe were there last night desiring to eat a hot meal inside, away from the cold winter wind. The heat/cooling system was blowing quite cool air. I wish I had a thermometer so I could post the actual temp but I didn't. It was cold. With shirt, sweater and coat on I was still cold. I would estimate that it was at the most 65° inside. I asked the girl taking orders to turn up the heat and she showed me the locked box on the wall that was set remotely by corporate with no local way to override and no way to read what the inside temperature was. Everybody was eating bundled up as though outside. Calling me by name is not as important to me as being comfortable when I come inside from the cold. It was an uncomfortable meal. Food is OK but when they held the cheese and sour cream because we are vegan they would not add back more beans/rice to fill out our burrito without an...
Read moreMy experience at this specific Del Taco was very poor. I went through the drive thru with a couple of friends and all we ordered was a Sprite, a milkshake, a burrito, and two churros. For a such a small order, they had us pull around and wait. When paying, the lady dropped my card on the ground, swore, and then didn't even hand back my receipt. We didn't have to wait too long but when they brought out our food to the car, they forgot the Sprite. When we finally got the Sprite, it was filled to the top with ice with minimal soda. They also asked us what kind of hot sauce we wanted, but it was not included in the order. The entire experience was very disappointing and not worth my...
