About a year ago, (around March, 2019) I saw someone wearing a hat with the Hop Thief logo, I thought it was awesome, so I asked him where I could get one, he didn't tell me much, except that his buddy was opening a self-tap room soon and I could get one then. I realized I was stoked about more than just a hat!! Once it opened, I jumped in with excitement, and was able to try many different beers, ciders, kombucha, wines, nitro coffee from Walla Walla Roastery (which is one of my fav. Local coffee shops), and the cocktails are delicious too! I was able to pour my drinks at any volume I wanted, considering it is charged by the ounce when you pour! I ended up trying all 40 taps for under $15. I was stunned since I love doing tastings. I became even more stunned after I realized they have a fire stone pizza oven, and make their dough and many sauces fresh every day, that's a big deal to me! I am now very proud to say I am a part of the team at Hop Thief now, come in and see me or anyone on the team and we will show you why this place is so amazing! I even recommend asking for a tour, the place has a lot more than...
Read moreI've been to more then a few of these types of places in Phoenix and Dallas and LA and this was not a good experience for any of us at all. The food was mediocre and both of are meals were prepared and served incorrectly. The service was horrendous was my biggest takeaway. There were 5 or 6 servers and the place was nearly empty and I spoke to my waitress maaybe 3 time during are hr in there. We ordered no pickles on both dishes because of allergy. They were both covered in pickles so we didnt eat them and when the waitress finally came over and asked how it was I told her I wish I could eat it but its covered in pickles..She stares off into space for a good 3 seconds and then replied can I get you something to drink? She was definitely out to lunch that day..lol..Topper was the beer selection..None if what was in tap was rare or new to me. Simply added to the dissatisfaction I had after seeing it being built for the last few months..If you read my reviews you know I call it like it is good or bad..No sponsors or anything like that.I travel all over with my kids and skydive family and simply share my...
Read moreNice place, nice servers, nice outdoor section where you can bring your dog, but the pizza? BURNT, the entire bottom was black. Not just here and there, but the entire bottom. It's supposed to be golden brown. Maybe occasionally you'll see a burnt SPOT or two on your typical pizza, but not the entire bottom of the pie. The meat, veggies, and sauce were okay, maybe a bit better than just okay taste wise, and we were so hungry we opted to just go ahead and eat it rather then sending it back. The entire pie was rather thin though. And at $20 for a 14" pie (included $4.50 in additions), not a good value for the money.
The beer/drink selection was wide, and didn't take long to learn the system of giving them your debit card, then they give you a beer card that you put in the card reader under the beer handle of your choice after grabbing a glass (of differing sizes) from the cooler. The display shows how much is charged to your DC. Keeps a running total for that card and displays it as you pour. Pretty slick.
Because of the burnt crust, and the pitiful amount of food on the pizza, I doubt...
