New York Style Pizzeria — Restaurant in Collierville

Ordered two pizzas over the phone using the menu found on Google. Got there, same menu with same prices in a stack at the register. Rang up as $64. I got my receipt to find that the pizza that was listed as $28 cas charged out at $35-a 25% increase. The other pizza was $4 higher than listed in the menu. Looking again at the menus on the counter, there were paper copies of the one online, as well as laminated menus with slightly higher prices, but nowhere near what they were charging. I had already paid, but I spoke to the owner. His answer was that they had signs posted explaining that prices in the menu weren't correct. They were black and white, not prominent. I pointed to the menus on the counter and he said they were from 2018. I pointed out that if they weren't correct he should at least throw them out and get more. I took my overpriced pizza and left. I don’t usually take the time to rate restaurants and maybe I caught this group on a tough night. But I called last night and before I said anything, I was told carry out are going to be at least an hour. This was at 6:30. It eas almost as if they didn’t want to do business. Then I explained my order was relatively small. I wanted a medium cheese pizza and a pasta. He said “we’re not doing any pastas right now”. I told them I had an updated menu from their restaurant that I had just picked up several days ago. And with no explanations he said - we are just not doing pastas. Not that they were out of pasta. I went in looked at the menu, there were only handheld menus so I used that. I was standing in front of the guy on the register and placed my order. I paid and went to wait for my food. While waiting I noticed the prices were more $1 -$2 off per item I ordered. I went back and checked the menu and I was correct. The guy then just tells me the menus are outdated and the prices are incorrect. Not acceptable. He then points to another sign they had printed and affixed to the counter that said the prices on the menu were wrong. Not acceptable. Raise your prices but it's unacceptable to not have the appropriate prices...
