I’ve had a lot (make that a whole lot) of brisket in my days. More than I care to admit. And there’s no way that was fatty brisket. There was not a lick of fat on there and it was actually very tough and dry. Like what I would imagine the sole of my shoe taste like. This is the second brisket I’ve tried in Memphis (the other being Corky’s) and I’ve not been impressed at all with either place. Granted Corky’s was worse. But not by much. There were a dozen of us this time, and not a one liked it. We actually had two different groups place two separate orders at different pickup times, and we both got the same quality brisket. I think what may have happened was they ran out of fatty brisket so they just replaced it with lean brisket without telling us. Idk. But even if that’s what happened, it was just too dry and tough for even lean brisket. I’ve never seen brisket go to waste, until that meal. Well, actually the dog ate the leftover brisket and I think he liked it. Hey, is that why it’s called “wolf” brisket? Haha. Jk. Well, it’s kinda funny but not really, cuz we dropped a lot of money there for food gone to waste. We were disappointed given all the great reviews which is why we chose the place. As for the rest of the food, the Mac and cheese was good. Chips were good too. I liked their take on coleslaw. Succotash was not bad - first time I’ve had it. Looked like beans mixed with corn. Waffle corn bread tasted like corn bread in the shape of a waffle. Nice spin. Oh and the burnt ends were pretty good. Smaller portion though, but good. FYI - the sauce on the burnt ends is kinda sweet, if you don’t like sweet. We were really impressed by the photos of the giant pretzels online. But our pretzels all came all broken up in pieces to fit into their to go box I guess. Not impressed with that design/concept. Would’ve been great if they could’ve put it in a grocery bag or something to maintain it’s impressive shape. Or at least given us the option to keep the original shape in tact. Just a thought. I mean, that’s why you get it right? So much for the photo ops. Otherwise it’s really just like pretzel bits, which we could’ve ordered anywhere. Was not impressed with the accompanying beer cheese either. Was hoping for something interesting, but it lacked flavor and I did not care for the somewhat gritty texture of it either. Stuck with the mustard instead. Looked like nice ambiance inside the restaurant. Lots of customers too. So I’m probably in the minority or else our group got a couple of bad orders. Well, that’s my honest review of this place based on our experience. Hope it is helps y’all have a better experience

Well this a must stop experience. The menu was expansive with many great options. I would encourage you not to stick to the safe sandwiches which I'm sure are Devine but rather try their amazing salads or entrees. For my visit I ordered a very specific cocktail which was delivered to my request. I ordered the baked brie, burnt ends waffle and pecan cobbler. The house made Carmel sauce for the brie was a smash. Very delicious. Although I had hoped the brie would have been served hotter. I had to use a butter knife to spread it rather than dip my apples in a gooey melted cheese heaven. The burnt ends served on a cornbread waffle served with house made coleslaw. This is what sold me to come back. The slaw is purple cabbage and sweet which complements the tender burnt ends and crunch of the cornbread waffle. The side I chose was a succotash which as a first timer having succotash opened my taste buds to new flavors. I ordered my entree with a side of brisket. Extremely tender and fell apart with a fork. If I had to guess the meat here was slow cooked for 18 hours. I didn't taste much of a smokey flavor but the tenderness made up for any of that. I ended my meal with a peach cobbler. The pecans cooked wonderfully and if I guessed, also used that house made Carmel sauce. Topped with a fluffy yellow cake that did not over power the pecans. This treat is served with ice cream. As I am not a typical fan of ice cream it was served on the side. I made many special requests for my meal and questions about the menu. The staff here was unanimously above restaurant standards. Dining here felt more like catching up with a dear friend and having a host. The atmosphere was simple, clean, and what I appreciate the most, noise appropriate. The patio which I did not have the pleasure of experiencing looked amazing. I would recommend any one going on a first date to go here. Or friends just wanting to have a chill toast and conversation.

My friends and I decided to try this place for our girlfriends lunch. Our waiter Joel was very nice, suggested the smoked wings (not pictured), they were good but salty. I ordered the brisket with Brussels sprouts and broccoli salad.... the broccoli salad was dry, the bacon in the Brussels sprouts was burnt, I didn’t care for the brisket because it was dry and I don’t like the bbq sauce (need some Sweet Baby Rays honey bbq sauce)! The other plate was burnt ends that were greasy, the spicy green beans had no flavor, the Mac and cheese was watery. The other tray was sliders. The brisket sliders was dry and the palmetto jalapeño slider was ok but none of the food was hot and fresh! The cornbread waffle was good but like I said, not fresh. Our waiter got busy with a party so two waitresses stated to help us, we voiced our issues and they gladly took off everything with out a hassle. The best thing about this place is the staff that’s why I gave them two stars!

1 star because I can't give ZERO!! ordered via Doordash on Sunday the 3rd 2020. Delivery moved along with the estimated delivery time. I get my food and try the Mac & Cheese. I didn't really care for the burnt ends bit the mac &cheese tasted good. So on to my food. I open the container and I find mashed potatoes with bacon in them. I'm thinking this isn't what I ordered. So I double check my order and I was correct. I ordered the greens. So I call the restaurant. I tell the man who answers the phone my order is wrong. He asks my name and I tell him. Once he hears my name he immediately starts talking loud with this story about how they called my phone 10 times, they're out of greens do they're giving out mashed potatoes instead. I them explain to him because of my religion I don't eat pork so,I'm unable to eat the potatoes because they're covered in bacon. Once I explain the issue with him he gets short with me says they'll make me another and HANGS UP THE PHONE IN MY FACE!! At this point I'm angry so,I go to my phone and NOT 1 MISSED CALL FROM THIS RESTAURANT!! I DON'T FIND THE RESTAURANT NUMBER I NY DO MISSED OUR SPAM CALLS. So I wait for my delivery of another order of potatoes but,it never arrived!! So I proceed to eat my food. Being from Texas I'm well learned in what Brisket is supposed to taste like and look like. The brisket is pale,no smoke ring, tough and tastes more boiled than smoked. The green beans were bland and the corn waffle tasted like jiffy box cornbread mix put in a waffle iron. So now it's Monday I haven't received a call back or my new order of potatoes. So mediocre food, HORRENDOUS customer service and staff that have no decent morals or ethics. Who on earth lies about calling someone's phone -WHEN YOU KNOW WE'RE GOING TO BE ABLE TO SEE YOU DIDN'T and thereby know you lied!! I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! I'll also be posting to Google and every other platform I know lists restaurant...
