Ocean House — Restaurant in Collingdale

I FINALLY had a chance to try Ocean House and wow! I’m so glad I had a chance that I did! I was wanting a good catfish and they have a nice shrimp & catfish meal. I went through UberEats to order. The food is filling, the shrimp is plump, the breading is light, non-greasy, fluffy and tasty! I also had the hush puppies and it too was of the same consistency: fluffy, crispy and tasty. Addictive! I had corn on the cob and the corn was juicy, plump which a crispy hmm snap when biting into it. There is a secret sauce (to me I don’t recognize it) that’s tangy, zesty and just right. Lastly, the key lime pie was the finishing desert. It had zing, smooth and to die for! But you wanna be alive to eat it! I currently work deliveries and rideshare for my full time job. Whenever I come in to pick up an order, the staff are always nice, courteous, professional and on top of things! I never had to wait for an order. I have found my new favourite AND local (Collingdale / Delco) seafood place. I’m a pescatarian and always on the lookout for good sea-food and catfish places. THANK YOU! I went here before. The guy that service us was not nice at all. He was rushing us to look at the menu. It was our first time here so we were taking a minute to choose. He kept pushing us to pick either or so I had to push my husband to the side and ask to let us look at the menu. At first I kind of let the attitude slip but I felt annoyed the time of check out. I came in and waited on my order since it wasn't ready I let the lady behind me go. My husband sat in the car cuz he was sort of annoy by the way the guy acted so after a moment of looking away and observing. The guy call over to me sooo rudely. Obviously at this point I knew that its not us. Its obviously the guy. I can cook the same thing at home and cheaper it was just a splurge at the moment since we were going to a friend house and wanted to bring food. I ordered online . I had a place to be and went to pick up my food for my guests . I got there 10 mins after my order was supposed to be completed . When I got there my order had not even been started ! the guy who was at the cashier did not apologize , or offer like hey can we give you some free broccoli with two boils , nothing . I spend over 100 dollars to not even get an I am sorry is crazy . He acted like oh well we never received it and it’s fine we are making it now . They rushed my food . The black muscles were all chipped and I don’t think I got the proper portions. They had no problem charging my card . I won’t be returning . The customer service and food quality was not there.
