Fuji Hibachi & Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Collingdale

I wanted to order food from this restaurant so I thought I will pre-order early online and pick it up on my way back from work their online order access only offered delivery option for the online order so I decided to wait and order over the phone. The website also said that if I order more than $30 I get a free wonton soup the lady on the phone told me I could pick it up when I pick up my order I also ordered hot oil with my order. My order was well over $ 40. When I got there 30 mins later to pick up the order I was told that I do not get my free soup and that I have to reorder my hot oil and pay for it I tried in vain to explain to her but the lady who gave me my order ( not the brightest crayon in the pack) kept arguing with me so I told her to just hand me the order and forget about me ever returning to that store. She is what I call Penny wise and pound foolish. Food was fresh not the best but not the worst either. Definitely left a bad taste with me for me customer service is very important. I order from this restaurant regularly and have generally had good experiences. However, I was really disappointed with how a recent situation was handled. I called to order the lunch special — shrimp and broccoli with white rice — but they gave me pork fried rice instead. I called back, politely explained the issue, and was transferred to the manager.

Unfortunately, the manager was very short with me and refused to give me just a side of white rice. I even offered to bring back the untouched food and clarified that I didn’t want a new order — just the correct rice. I acknowledged that maybe I could have been clearer when I ordered, but as a regular customer, I hoped for a little understanding. Instead, I was told they don’t make changes like that for lunch specials.

It was a small request that could’ve easily been accommodated, and the interaction left a bad impression. I expected better customer service, especially as someone who supports this...

I ordered multiple things to include a chicken wing platter with shrimp fried rice. The shrimp were MUSHY. I contacted the store and spoke manager. At first she apologized and stated that she was sending a small shrimp fried rice. For me to hand the other rice back to the driver. I asked her to make sure the shrimp were not mushy. 45 mins later she called back to say that she would not send another shrimp fried rice. That their shrimp is always mushy. I told her that was unacceptable. That shrimp are not suppose to be mushy. That she could just refund the money for the shrimp fried rice which was reasonable. She refused. So not only did I receive mushy shrimp fried rice. I received poor customer service. While I’ve enjoyed the chicken I will NEVER order from here again. Serving poor quality food and poor customer service and charging the customer for it is ridiculous....
