So I've received service from Sharon Hill nails quite a few times. This most recent time will most certainly be my LAST! I made an appointment on Friday for Saturday @ 9am (opening time) . I sat in my car until 8:59pm and walked in to see someone in my nail techs chair under the drill already . How ? How was she seated with him prior to 9am and I had arrived on time. I got a very nonchalant "you can get your pedicure first". What angered me about it was that I specifically booked with him and had every intention on doing the pedi last incase the time ran over and I had to skip it. Needless to be said I got a toe polish change and little to no effort was put forth. I had to ask her to remove ALL of the previous gel polish twice , and she RUINED my nail bed with the drill and no buff ! The polish laid unevenly and I made note of it. She almost seemed annoyed that I spoke on it and gave me some bogus excuse. The customer is always right , and I know for a fact I was because it was visible. Fast forward im getting my nails done and we get to the paint/design portion (30 mins into nails). I asked for bright rainbow water color and after 15 mins of failed attempts I went with another design. If you can not achieve a design SAY THAT. The expectation isn't for it to be perfect but somewhat similar at least. After sitting in the chair for an hour and a half I was done . My nail total came to $55 . ( $20/set ,, $25/gel polish , $5/shape , $5/toe polish removal , $5/two designs , $3/gems , $2/glitter tips) . I did NOT pay for the hideous toe job, and still tipped him because I'm 100% sure it was the managers fault that someone else took my spot and he still did a decent job. Needless to be said Sharon Hill nails will never receive my patronage again from the price gouging to lack of customer service. I came in at 9am and left by 12:30pm. Make it make sense please. Back over the...
Read moreMy experience at this nail salon was the absolute worse. I’ve been there 3 times and each time I was charged different prices for the exact same thing. $27 - $33 - $18. The quality of there gel polish is poor, my nails never last. The last time I went with my daughter and my patient who has a disability and is wheelchair bound. My daughter and I wanted pedicures and I wanted a polish change on hands. We were greeted nicely and given prices when we entered. When it came time to receive services everything changed. I was told there wasn’t any room for my patient’s wheelchair so I couldn’t get my pedicure, I allowed my daughter to go and get hers anyway. I waited patiently for the first booth near the entrance to open because my patient’s chair definitely would not be in the way. Instead she told me I couldn’t get my nails done unless I was willing to leave her sitting alone. After I clearly showed her the wheelchair wasn’t in the way and all the customers agreed she still didn’t want to do my nails and instead proceeded to do another lady’s nails. It was after I made the announcement that she didn’t want to do my nails because of my patient she changed her mind. She then tried to explain to me that the nail dust was dangerous for my patient who is 33 years old and that I would be liable if anything happened. To me that’s odd because the salon was doing at least 3 children’s hands and at least 7/8 adults. If it was dangerous for my client, wouldn’t it be dangerous for us as well. She also said that wheelchairs are not allowed in her shop, even though there’s no sign posted. Please keep that in mind if your handicap or have close ties with anyone who is. This was a classic case of discrimination against handicap individuals. I would not recommend this salon and I will...
Read more**Update 12/18/18: I got my nails done on 11/29, 3 days later on 12/1 the polish started to bubble up and peel on one of my nails. 4 days after that it started to do it on two other nails. By the time i was able to go back it was already a week later and I figured they probably wouldn’t repair it. So instead I’m updating my review and probably won’t go back. Nice place but their products are of poor quality. 11/29/18
Clean & professional looking salon. Good service. I came shortly after they opened so it wasn’t crowded at all. I feel that she rushed my pedicure a little. However she did take her time with my nails which I appreciated. Both services came out nice. A little pricey, $65 total for full set with gel and regular pedicure (I’m used to paying about $50-55). Also, there’s a service charge for...
