Within view of the Collinsville Water Tower and in the beautiful town square sits an amazing property which houses the best custard that side of the Mississippi. The buildings are shipping containers connected to a large pavilion that has several picnic tables. Behind the pavilion is a spot to play corn hole and lush grass for kids to play. There are games on the tables as well. The day my pals and I went there was a nice breeze on a day of dangerous heat and I never wanted to leave... why would I? Yummy custard, good conversation, great patrons (everyone that stopped by were so friendly) and the best chocolate chip cookie I've EVER had in my life (and I'm old), I was in heaven. I had some kind of coffee/espresso concrete. (I forgot the name. ) It have a good taste but seemed a little runny for a concrete. Still VERY tasty. One of my pals had vanilla. (She's lactose intolerant but still loved the ice cream. ) Another had chocolate and he LOVED it. My other friend had an Italian Ice. Honestly, I've never been one to order "flavored ice" but apparently it was really good. All this and it barely made a dent in the wallet. These items are priced right! Now, let's say you want to go here but on the day you can go (they are open 7 days a week so no excuses) it's a bit chilly but you are craving something sweet or decadent. What do you do? I'll tell you.... get one of the homemade cookies. How good are these cookies? Well one of my pals lives in Ohio and he bought 2 to take back with him. The owner came out and went table to take to ask how we were enjoying our treats. She's the genius behind the cookie recipe and honestly one of the nicest owners I've met. One of the people I was with started telling her his life story... he's 87 so it's cute and she listened and even asked questions before moving on to another table. We will DEFINITELY be back! And we will bring friends!

It’s a great family friendly spot with rooftop seating, general seating and bathrooms. The peanut butter and sugar cookie has been my favorite so far. I really like their strawberry shortcake parfait. My only issue is that their dessert are way too sweet. The peanut butter and sugar cookies aren’t overly sweet neither is the parfait, which is why I like them. The dairy free desserts are impossibly sweet. Their ice cream cookies are dense, hard, and slightly salty with the salt flakes sprinkled on top. One ice cream sandwich is massive and can be split in 2 for people. So too sweet or salty is the only issue.

If you have not been here, then you are missing out!! One of the most inviting spots I know! As soon as you see it, it draws you in!! FUN!!!!!!! Before I get to the delicious treats let me tell you about the layout of this place! They have everything a family, a couple, or us single folks would want to go hang out at! As you walk up you will see shaded tables, two fire pits, an awesome spiral staircase going up to the top of the shop where there are more shaded tables, and you get an amazing view of Main Street! I'm not done! They have Cornhole games set up for your enjoyment. They have these two adorable ice cream trucks with music when they roll for the little ones to play in! They also have huge bubble wands for any age to enjoy! Did I mention they even have music coming through the speakers where you can dance off your sugar rush?! :D Ok, now let's talk about the treats! :) The combinations of goodness they put in every one of their choices are absolutely PERFECT!!!!!!!! You even get to choose a lot of those combinations in a concrete or a sundae! Did I mention Italian Ice?? I enjoyed the Hawaiian Italian Ice last week, YUM!! HOMEMADE cookies from secret family recipes baked FRESH right in the store!! You can even get them as an ice-cream sandwich!! :D Oh, and great customer service still exists here!!! I can guarantee you will be greeted with a smile and feel at home visiting here! :) I don't get to visit as often as I want since I live across the river. I know if I was closer, I would definitely...

I was really excited to experience this place. Me and my partner walked up behind a whole family that just left with their ice cream. As we did come 10 minutes before close, eye contact was avoided, we were ignored and not acknowledged. We would’ve understood if someone came and explained they closed down for the night and we would have came back tomorrow. But the pretending like you don’t see us standing at the window, while we stand and wait out the 10 minutes, is rude. And when we got back to the car, the workers finally went to the window , confirming they deliberately ignored us. Very disappointing as I’ve been waiting the whole off season to visit. Very deterring, and...
