The staff, bartenders, and runners were all friendly. I think some were a little new, some small miscomunications on things.labor day weekend and all can be a bit stressful.
Although the kitchen had a bit of trouble on this visit. From what we gathered, the pizza oven was on the fritz, as it took quite a while to get our pizzas. They came out almost 45 mins apart after our first one was about 25min wait. They didn't have the wisoncin cheese appetizer(bummer), so we ordered fries, asked if we could get cheese on them, and was told they could see. They brought out a small sauce cup of cheese by itself before the fries even got to our table. We told them they were supposed to be on the fries. Then, after about 15 mins, they did it again. So we said to forget the cheese all together and just bring the fries. After a bit more of a wait, they brought out the fries with a ketchup and cheese sauce cup. When we got everything, it was tasty, though.
Another table had the same problem. One got her pizza, and finished it, asked for a box for it before they even got to hers.
Overall, I think front and back of house communication could be a lot better. If there's a problem that affects particular items that should be communicated to the customers for them to make the decision if they wanna wait for that item instead of being left in the dark wondering what's holding things up.
The river front view is nice. The cool breeze blowing off it was refreshing and helped on the hot day. They have a prime location on their hands. Seems to be some small growing pains at the moment, which is to be expected of a new loaction. If they iron out their front and back of house communication and a solution to convey item outtages. I think it'll be a good spot to eat and enjoy the river.
Definitely want to go back and give it another go when things are running a bit...
Read moreWas so looking forward to trying MUSE - went after church on Sunday and had a terrible experience. As we walked in we were not greeted, had to ask if we seat ourselves, wait to be seated or order from the bar. Explained that this was our first time there. Finally we were told to seat ourselves. It took awhile to be waited on ordered drinks & a pizza. Once we got our pizza asked for parmesan cheese and the red pepper flakes, both my husband I had already consumed one slice of pizza before receiving the parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. I was trying to be helpful by mentioning that they should have these on the tables but was quickly told that everything is fresh. What they brought us was a pill size cup half full with maybe 2 sprinkles of the parmesan cheese. My husband can go through a 1/2 jar of this stuff! I went ahead and asked for more ice tea (nobody had stopped by to check our drinks). Time went by and we saw the lady on the other side of the restaurant that was getting my ice tea and I mentioned to my husband I guess she forgot so he raised his hand and said "Miss, Miss did you forget her ice tea" oh my gosh, the lady yelled at us several times saying "UNACCEPTABLE, UNACCEPTABLE" and claimed he yelled across the restaurant - then she started yelling and pointing to the "GOOD VIBES ONLY" sign. Well, that was enough.... will NOT be back and will not try DRIFT either since they are connected. Good Luck Muse! You need a lesson on customer service!
NOTE: my husband argued for the bill and they waved us on to get...
Read moreI ate here with my family for the second time after not having a good experience the first time, giving them a second chance. However, I was disappointed once again. We ordered a sandwich and 2 pizzas and a few apps. All of the food came out one thing at a time which sucked that we couldn’t all eat together. My brother’s pizza was supposed to have mushrooms on only half but they put mushrooms on the whole thing. My brother and I asked for ranch, sat and waited for it as it never came. (They weren’t busy at all) We had to get up to ask again, once we finally got it we were basically done with our food and really didn’t it need it anymore. At this time, my father was still waiting for his pizza so we decided to ask how much longer, the waitress told us it was coming out the oven right now. Few mins past and she comes back over saying that wasn’t our pizza and they didn’t have the order in. At that point everyone was done eating so we just said don’t worry about putting the pizza in anymore. We got the check and seen we were charged $6 for 2- 2oz sized ranch. The first time I came here we were charged $3 for a 2oz hot honey sauce. The price was just outrageous for sauce. I understand most restaurants charge maybe 50 cents but $3 is crazy. After all, considering we waited and waited for a pizza that never was put it, server didn’t check on us unless we waved her down, and the crazy prices, coming from someone who works at a restaurant.. We didn’t have a good experience here. Very...
