Came on a Sat afternoon and we were the only customers inside, several were sitting at their outdoors seating area. Friendly staff. You order drinks and food at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table when it's ready. You can keep open a tab or just pay after ordering.

I imagine things get crowded and noisy in the evenings with live music. We enjoyed the indoor seating and relaxing with friends. We ordered regular and chicken gyros. They were really good! A little messy, but doesn't that make it better? Strong on the onions, just a warning! Plenty of meat and toppings, but the cheese and sauce were only at the front so you might want to spread it out before digging in.

The beer was an Irish red. I don't think the beer was bad, I think I just might not like reds. I'll try a different beer next visit. The peach sangria cider tasted more of an average cider and not a flavored one, wasn't strong on peach. It was good, just not sweet or peachy enough.

Great spot to hang out. Easy street parking and close walk to the water when...

Got the red ale and it was amazing, brother got the IPA also amazing. What absolutely ruined it for me was I was at the register, and yes I was wearing a low cut sundress no ones business but mine, well the older blonde women behind the bar clearly pointed at me and whispered something to the brunette at the bar stool. She then turned around multiple times clearly laughing and making comments about me, would normally ignore but it's a new business, clearly the owners, and absolutely rude and uncalled for. I'm in there buying your product and hoping to come back. Defiantly a deturant from wanting to come back if the people are going to be so judgey when I'm here spending money to help their business. Are you kidding me!?!? It's not like it's a big place and there was anyone else behind or around me. Very poor choice of actions when you want good word of mouth around town and good reviews online to drawl people in for a start...

Colonial Beach Brewery is my favorite place to be! (This is my Cheers location of choice) They just added a Greek Menu a few months ago, and I'm really enjoying eating my way through the menu! And everything Chris and Jen make is so, so delicious!

The monthly beer releases are not to be missed, and Ted-themed beverages and events are a blast! Too full and don't want a full glass?... Ask for the Mitze.

They are proud LGBTQIA+ supporters, active in the community, and care about their patrons' personal lives in addition to being a business. (It makes you feel like part of a family.) Peace, love, and tie-dye!

They regularly host events, trivia, open mic night, raves, comedy nights, drag shows, yoga, and a monthly book club. (Might have a game night soon!)

So from big events with lots of people to the lovely, slow pace with the locals in the off season, it's truly a gem! Check it out!

Colonial Beach is a relaxed, non-commercial beach community and CBB is the perfect way to spend the evening while you're in town. Mitsy & Ted are the most enjoyable business owners with who you'll ever share your time. The girls, Stacy and Erin happily stepped up when one of their other team members got sick and they delivered amazing service all night. The community of customers were all like extended family. Live music outside and sports inside, a great selection of great craft brews in a pet-friendly, conversation-friendly environment. At the end of the night, after a big win for my team, Mitsy cheerfully offers, "Come back again!" We certainly will :)
