Colonial Buzz Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Colonial Beach

Such a cute little spot! Excellent service and kind folks working there. Cool vibe with inside and outside seating area. SUPER cool that it’s a coffee shop in the morning and brewery in the evening. Always room for improvement, the outdoor area needs some bug mitigation and the coffee drinks could use some reinventing. The coffee my first visit was so bad, I couldn’t even drink it and my partner had to doctor his up at home to make it drinkable as well… and if it weren’t so cute and such sweet people, I wouldn’t have given it a second try, but I did and was very specific about what I wanted and they delivered! I typically like sweet drinks, but theirs are much sweeter than my taste and too creamy/milky for me. But the iced espresso with just a bit of cream and sweetener was delicious! Glad I went back! Seems like a cute hang out spot for locals...

A group of me and my friends (around seven of us) came to visit this coffee shop during our time at Colonial Beach and it was probably the best coffee shop we've ever been to. Not only were the options extremely affordable, but the food/drinks were amazing and the owners were very kind to us as well. This was our 2nd coffee shop stop of the day while out celebrating my son's birthday. We got there right before they were due to close, but they happily took our order. We got drinks to go, but the inside was super cute, decorated with what appeared to be local artists works, available for purchase. Definitely a great small business that we plan to return to anytime we're in...
