I recently visited Cafe Julie's and was blown away by the exceptional quality of their espresso. The rich, robust flavor far surpassed anything I've ever experienced at mainstream coffee chains. Additionally, the variety of breakfast pastries and handmade chocolates was a true delight for the senses, each treat resembling a work of art.
The staff at Cafe Julie's was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere for patrons. However, I must note that the service was exceptionally slow during all three of our visits. We encountered several issues with getting our orders squared away, leading to unnecessary delays and confusion. One day, our coffees were so mixed up that they had to be remade, which was quite frustrating.
On a positive note, I was pleased to find that Cafe Julie's offers a variety of alternative milk options, catering to those with dietary restrictions. This attention to accommodating different dietary needs is commendable and adds to the inclusive environment of the cafe.
Despite the service issues, the outstanding quality of the espresso, delectable pastries, and the welcoming staff made our visits enjoyable. With improved efficiency in service, Cafe Julie's has the potential to elevate the overall experience for its patrons. I hope to see positive changes in the future, as it would make this already charming cafe even more...
Read moreActually was amazed when I saw that their prices on the coffee beverages (except the black coffee) were not exorbitantly high like the rest of the establishments in the Broadmoor. Service was well café service, perfectly fine. Black coffee, was pleasant, almost not bitter at all, but quite expensive for black coffee. Vanilla Latte was quite good, although no real vanilla bean here unfortunately, which is... disappointing. They have a chocolatier den available for observation right next door which is neat. Café Mocha, best Mocha I have ever tried to say the least. Chocolate Ice cream, again best Chocolate Ice cream have ever tried. Peppermint ice cream, meh was ok at best. Don't buy the merchandise also it's exorbitantly overpriced.
Place overall feels like a café airport. EXTREMELY crowded, mostly everything is extremely expensive, however the product quality is far above airports.
Edit: I didn't realize, a %20+ gratuity was included on the receipt just already, which I dislike greatly because you could just pay your employees, idk an actual living...
Read moreThe coffee is very flavorful and fresh, still not worth the $8 drip coffee plus tax and a hidden gratitity fee for a simple brew. No fancy drink just plain black coffee and it was only the fourhs full!! The pastries same story. I paid $25 for a regular coffee and pastry. I was disappointed in the atmosphere, would love a place to sit and relax, but it did not match the hotel. Bright florecent lights and one large table shoved on the side. I went out to the hotel to enjoy, and did! The workers were nice and efficient, but the two who were just standing around were very loud and obnoxious. Playing hand games and laughing very loud right at the register and counter, felt unprofessional...
