Looking to pick up something quick for lunch for under $10? Yeah? Well, look somewhere else.
I did just that because I was in the area, and in a hurry. I got a "pick two" with broccoli cheddar soup and the chicken avocado BLT. Oh, and a small drink. $21 (includes the $2 tip for the burden of ringing me up and plating my food that I had to pickup from the counter and take to my seat myself... So $19)... Let me spell that out in case you aren't picking up what I'm laying down; twenty-one dollars... for a half a sandwich (which is really about 1/4 of a sandwich) a cup of soup and a small drink. Wow. Never again.
The one I went to is in close proximity to a university. I looked around and realized that there were a number of students in there using the wifi, sipping a small drink... You know why? BECAUSE IF THEY ATE THERE THEY'D HAVE TO DROP OUT AND TAKE UP POLE DANCING TO MAKE ENDS MEET!!!
Alright, just kidding (sort of) but seriously, this was a $7 lunch. $12 if you stretched it.
Staff was super-nice. Not at all their fault that if I decided to take my family there, it would have to count as part of their Christmas.
Think about it for a second; if I took my family there, at let's say $18 a person (for the sake of argument, and that does NOT include any tip of might offer up) that family of 5 would cost me $90 !!!! At Panera Bread!!
Uhhh, no. Here is a picture of...
Read moreAll the Springs locations are great. They are all set up and decorated differently, however they are still all the same in three things: pricing, staff demeanor, & food quality. We will first talk about the prices of the food at Panera. It’s average for a restaurant of the same sit-down style. The staff has always been greatly impressive because they are always very professional and they are quick to remember me and my family as well as what we all order. On rare time food not perfect the manager is notified and he or she will reimburse the item, get kitchen to re-do it correctly, and then they go way above any other competitors by a as Lao giving us a free bakery treat! I was just so overwhelmed with the policy’s generosity that my then fiancé had to return item the next time for me. That was because I didn’t want to get so much for a mistake I just have never before or since seen a mistake policy that is so completely generous. My fiancé reminded me that it is the policy because they believe in perfection as they should and a customer pays for the food therefore the customer is entitled to their food exactly as they ordered it. If it’s wrong they’re not just inconvenienced; they’re disappointed in the kitchen staffs job quality and must WAIT for the correct food. Maybe they have somewhere to go and waiting on the staff to fix is more than small...
Read moreThis is supposed to be a "BLT Roast Turkey Avocado Sandwich" (if it lets me attach photos) it seriously looks like they just threw everything on the bread and wrapped it up. There is NO AVOCADO on this sandwich, there is rotting spinach, the tomatoes are borderline rotting, or extremely soggy, NO MAYO when asked for extra as they always put very little, the meat is balled up in just the middle of the sandwich, totally disappointed when you pay $13.60 for delivery, THEN give them a $2.00 cash tip, $15.60 for something that can potentially give you food poisoning AND still can't eat it. I called and spoke with the manager who was very nice, I explained what happened and he advised they would send me out a new sandwich and I could throw this one away. I called in at 11:58 am, it is now 12:31 pm and I still have not received the "Food as it should be" when I placed an online order at 10:51 am. Good luck to you if you choose to get food from this location. I will be contacting corporate for a full refund, this is just not right at all.
I received my sandwich at 12:38 pm - the delivery drive said that the manager relayed that the tomatoes were just "ripe" (were going to agree to disagree) and STILL missing the onions that were added - jeez, talk about a swing an a...
