I have worked at an out-of-state Papa Murphy's for 3 years. I've had enough experience to know that this was the worst Papa Murphy's I have been to. My husband and I walk in and there are what look like young kids as the employees who are talking among themselves rather than welcoming and giving full attention to the customer which they should do as part of Papa Murphy's standards for customer service (well, maybe not this location's standards...not sure what they are). We walked up to the counter and were ready to pick up our order and I told her I had an online coupon through my smartphone. She said they don't take online coupons (I.e. Email) unless they're printed out and that the only phone coupon she'll take is through text message. In all of the locations I've been to, why couldn't she take the coupon? I told her this was never a problem before. And since there was a misunderstanding, as part of good customer service, she should have compromised to make the customer (us) satisfied because that's a priority of Papa Murphy's. She wasn't apologetic, wasn't accommodating, and could tell she didn't care. I had my wallet open ready to pay and she was looking inside my wallet and my personal info and saw my military ID. She said with an attitude, "You know that military get a dollar off right?" No, I didn't know. And I hadn't even told her we were military. So we asked her for the military discount (after the receipt had just printed out) and she said, "Well you know it's only a dollar and to refund I have to get my manager up here to put it in the computer." Excuse me, little girl, it's my dollar and if I ask for a discount after having been denied one in the first place, you should at LEAST do what we asked. At that point we were upset with the immaturity and incompetence so we thanked them and left and are never going back. Papa Murphys as I know it, has ALWAYS been about making the customer happy and going out of the way to do so. This review is not about the coupon. It's about the lack of customer service, the I-could-care-less attitude, and the low standards our society has become comfortable within this little store and other...
Read moreI must say that I have quit going to Papa Murphys and this location for several reasons. I’ve always loved their stuffed Chicago style pizza. I also like the Big Murphy but cannot do the black olives. I’m DEATHLY allergic to olives and have made this VERY CLEAR. I somehow seem to get a pizza with olives when I ask for NONE. On several occasions I’ve gotten my pizza home to find out the put olives and then just picked them off. I cook the pizza and become very sick instantly. Tonight Friday, February 18th, 2022 I decided to give them a try again about 7 pm and once again not very happy. I ordered my usual Chicago stuffed pizza in a large size….no salami, add mushrooms, extra sauce and extra cheese. My order came to $19.25. Here’s the problem—-this is suppose to be a large 14” at least 4 lb pizza or more with the extras. One of the employees hands me the pizza and I ask “ Is that a large?” Literally looks smaller than the medium board on the wall. I’m in a hurry because I’ve got hungry people at home waiting on me. I get the pizza home and just for curious it’s sake I weighed the pizza. It’s 3.1 lbs and only 10-1/2” in diameter. It’s 2-1/2” smaller than the paper plate it’s on. To say I was unhappy is an understatement. I opted for a sandwich so the others would get full. I won’t be going back to Papa Murphys again. Very disappointed!!!! They will once again loose my weekly $50-100 order on Tuesdays. Not only do I buy for my family, but both of my jobs support this establishment. For $19…. I EXPECT A LARGE PIZZA MADE CORRECTLY!!! My review doesn’t even touch on any of the health / or in sanitary infractions I saw in the 15 minutes I was there. People are watching and the employees are oblivious. I truly hope corporate and or the owner sees this and takes out the trash to clean this place up. My true rating is a NEGATIVE 5 STARS but had to at least give 1 star so it would let me...
Read moreI would have rated this place 5 stars a week ago... But! This week I was ordering pizzas over the phone. It was taking longer than I anticipated on my end. I apologized to the associate for taking so much time. His response was sarcastic and rude. I offered to use another location, but be said it was ok. When I arrived to pick up my order I asked for the manager who was not there. I explained the situation to the person behind the counter and told him I expected an apology from the person who had taken my order. Apparently that person had gone home for the night. My order was not ready, because the person who took it over the phone had never submitted it to be made. The associate helping me apologized for the other employee's inadequacy at performing his job and upgraded my order at no charge. This would have been great except he made everyone else's pizza who showed up after this had been sorted out, before making my order. So, it took all the time the pizzas should have been made in the first place, plus over 20 minutes additionally before I got my order. Dinner was after 9 that evening for what should have been about 8.
Rudolf, please try to be a better human and learn what good customer service is. Because, when you treat a customer badly, especially a customer that orders from you almost weekly, he may leave a review to let other customers know about his poor customer service. If I were your manager, you would...
