I have lived in the neighborhood of this Subway for almost 5 years and have NEVER had a good experience at this store. Every single time I go in, I wait a very long time in line with usually 1 person working the line and another 1 or 2 people hanging out in the back of the restaurant. Every single time I have gone in, the options are limited due to being out of several different items. Tonight was finally my breaking point. I waited in line for 15 minutes for 1 person to make 4 sandwiches for a couple a head of me. He yelled for someone to come help him a couple of times as the line grew longer and longer. A guy came out once to ring the lady up with the 4 sandwiches and then disappeared to the back again. Before the line person took the next person's order, he announces to everyone in line, "Just so you all know, we are out of a lot of things including: lettuce, chicken, meatballs..." the list went on for awhile. I said, this is ridiculous. Every time I come in, you guys are out of so much stuff. I then proceeded to ask for the manager's contact information. I have never complained before, but I have had it with this store. I do not even know how they are still in business. One of the employees had the nerve to tell me "you must always come at the wrong time." Seriously?! I come in at dinner time! When I asked him his name, he says, "I better not get any complaints, because I didn't do anything wrong" as if to threaten me. All I could think of is..WOW! Great customer service...these are the individuals they have running this store with no manager present. Every time I go to this store, it is a huge waste of my time. Even though I go to Subway several times a week, and this store is minutes from my house, I will NEVER return to this store. It should be closed down if they can not find competent, friendly employees and a manager that knows how to properly run a store and sufficiently stock it. I am beyond disgusted at my experience...
Read moreI ordered Subway through their app on Saturday 10/16/2021 Subway delivered my order through door dash when I got my order I was missing the drinks and the chips the cookies were broke into 20 pieces I called the delivery driver he apologize but said that he didn't have the missing items all he got was a blank order because I ordered through the subway App. So I decided that I wasn't going to go the .2 miles up to the Subway. I walk in with my Subway bag and receipt in hand. I was asked if I was there for a pickup I said no I proceeded to tell the young lady who was in the middle of making someone else sandwich that I was missing items and the cookies were in 20 pieces. She is about 20 ft. from me and there is background music playing so I did say it a little loud. She just stared at me. Then a young guy came from the back asked me from the other side of the counter which is roughly 40 feet from where I was standing I repeated myself at an elevated voice because of how far he was away from me He walks over to where I am and ask me to repeat myself again I do and hand him the cookies then he says to me so you want new cookies. I say I'm missing items it's not just the cookies. He then says come down ma'am really nasty I then do start yelling telling him not to tell me to calm down. He didn't even listen to anything I said and was trying to tell me that there was nothing he could do because Subway had door dash delivery me food yet he would replace the cookies. I told him again that I was missing more than just cookies I told him I wanted the $7.82 I was charged for delivery because I had to go up there anyway. I also told him again that I ordered from the Subway App. He ended up canceling my order and I left. Having 2 workers at Subway in between lunch and dinner time is not under staff. This is the second time I have come in and the closing staff seems to be put off by having customers come in.
On 11/4 at 8:00pm I stopped by this subway to grab a protein bowl. After standing there waiting for the two male staff to decide what closing procedures needed to be done one finally came over to help me. I asked for a protein bowl with bacon and chicken. I requested they cut or break the bacon before heating it and the two staff looked at each other shook their heads and said they can’t. I asked why as I always request my bacon this way. They didn’t have any reason other than they can’t. They then began to bad mouth the other staff that work there who actually accommodate this request. It was very off putting. I asked for 2 cups of Cesar dressing on the side. The staff began to pour one cup and the container was empty. He told me that was all he could do. I looked at him in shock for not even attempting to get any more to which he replied “ I can go look if there is any more in the back!” I just asked for the food I already paid for and left as is.
It is sad that staff are unwilling to do small things to provide a great service for their customers. My experience with this particular subway has been ruined.
I should note that I have been able to have this request at every subway I go to including this one. This was the first time I experienced a lack of concern for my patronage.
