This place has great reviews for a reason! My brother was born in Vietnam, his family owned many Pho restaurants (we used to eat Pho there and try other Pho restaurants with his mom all the time when I was a kid). I met my wife while I lived in S. Korea… Although Korea has nothing to do with Pho, my point is that I am no amateur to asian cuisine especially Pho. I also grew up in Maryland not far from Washington D.C. I say all of that to say… I have high standards and this was the best Pho, I’ve ever had and me and my wife have a hobby to try out Pho dishes, so we’ve tried many.
Okay, now here’s why:
The BROTH…. This recipe has been passed down through generations. Mom makes it there herself or makes sure her daughter doesn’t deviate from the nuances in the recipe when she cooks it!
what do I like about it? The broth is dank! (I had beef broth)
*Pro tip (ask for a side of their house made spicy sauce)
The noodles aren’t hard, they’re properly cooked.
Portions are great!
The service, this is a kind family business. With a pleasant, clean family friendly atmosphere with good cookware.
Parking was easy.
What can I say ya’ll 🤷🏾♂️ not only did they execute but they wen’t above and beyond! 🚀
🖐🏾 Bumboclaat stars! 😂
P.s.
I am not affiliated with this place. Today was my first time stopping by and God willing my wife and I will be...
Read moreVisited here with the family and we were looking for good authentic tasting pho. Think we found it here at this spot. Looks like a hole in the wall but it’s actually very clean and decorated nicely inside. You pay for your order before you receive your food. A little cheaper if you pay with cash vs card. The food is fresh, hot and very good. The kids meals in my opinion were overpriced though. 10 or so pieces of chicken nuggets for $10, no sides or drink included. We had the combination pho which was delicious. The beef broth was very tasty. The fresh spring rolls were great! The peanut sauce was tasty but too thin and runny for me. Usually the peanut sauce is thicker in Vietnamese restaurants in my home town so if they could thicken that up I’m sure it would be much better. The dumplings were awesome and the crab rangoons were filled nicely and were also tasty. The family that owns this place is very accommodating with families with children so don’t be shy to bring the littles here. The family bathroom is just for littles to use so I can appreciate their consideration for protecting our babies from as many germs as possible. I would definitely come here again even with the overpriced chicken nuggets. If you haven’t tried this spot, you should. It’s worth the visit and your tummy...
Read moreOverall, experience was okay. I used to go to pho brothers which I absolutely loved for years and was super bummed when I learned it had gotten shut down so I decided I'd try their new company out, which I found out is run by a fellow family member. The food was so so. I noticed they changed the menu immensely, which isn't a bad thing, I was just bummed because I wanted something specific which they do not offer at this new restaurant. When I got the food it wasn't bad tasting but it definitely didn't taste as the previous pho brothers and I was honestly a bit let down. The food ending up also making me kind of sick which I was also bummed about but I know that's a possibility in any restaurant I attend. I think the main thing that bothered me was that there was only one other person in the restaurant and the server ended up getting my order wrong still... Also the menu was higher priced than I was expecting and the food...
