I regret why I rented such an awful stinky and dirty place. I was traveling from out of state for a vacation with my daughter. The front desk receptionist was the most rude human being I have ever come across in my life. I arrived early due to the schedule for my flight. I was told by the most rude and evil front desk receptionist that I hade to pay $25 for showing up early. I told her that I would rather wait until the time she is ready to allow me in. She had the curtsy of telling me to go out side and wait till 4:00 p.m. when it was time for me to check in. imagine there was no where I could sit with my daughter apart from waiting for almost to the time for check in. She started arguing with me that I had to pay a deposit of $50 to cover any damage I can cause on their property during my stay. She gave me a paper to sign that was indicating no smoking policy on their property. Ironically, the place was stinking and smelling of awful cigarettes smoking! She went and reported me to the owner of the property who claimed that he was a maintenance guy that I do not want to pay the $50 deposit. I told the owner that I did not refuse to pay the deposit, the issue was concerning her rude manners. I told the owner that I will stay for only that night that was a Monday instead of the four days I had paid to use his property. He told me to go on their website and cancel the next day on Tuesday before I checked out. When I tried the website, It could not give access to cancel! The next day Tuesday, I called the front desk phone number around 9:00am on Tuesday morning and there was no one to answer the phone call! Ironically the voicemail box of a whole Hotel Inn is full. That means you cannot leave a voice mail. I had already booked a flight to head back to my home state! I had to give the room key to one of the ladies that looked like one of the employees who found me confused not knowing who to give the room key to after checking out. The lady was kind enough to receive the key and promised to give it to the receptionist that was not available by the time I checked out. The owner allowed me to check in early after 30 minutes without paying $25 fee for checking in early. The AC was awful! It could function for 30 minutes and turn off for about 4 hrs.! The day I arrived in Colorado springs was 90 degrees with very high humidity. The room was very hot I had to try adjust the AC all in vain! The AC would turn on for another 30 minutes and off for another 4hrs. My daughter who has migraines developed a very bad attack due to the humidity in the room. I was very tired and had no choice but to park up my stuff and leave the next day on Tuesday as I had already communicated to the owner. Th rental fees seems to be a little bit chip. Do not waste your hard earned money on such cheap places for the sake of saving! I would not at all advise any one to rent an Inn without reading the reviews. The carpet in the whole way was smelling of a smell of an old rugged carpet that has not been washed for ages! I called one of the he phone numbers that was on the website after failing to leave a voicemail on the number of the Inn whose mail box was full! I had to check out at 9:07 am on Tuesday! Remember I had paid for two nights from 07/15/24 to 07/17/24! I don think the Hotel is going to refund my money! please do not bather to...

First off, this place is listed as a hotel, when it should be listed as a motel. Looks very different online. Second, when I booked my room, I booked a view of the mountains and a non smoking room, I got a nice view of the parking lot with zero mountains. Third, when I checked in, the first room he gave me was a dirty room when I went back, he said hold on I have two rooms, let me check if they are clean. When I finally got to my room it reeked of cigarette smoke. I sucked it up tried to turn the tv on, the controller has no batteries in it, so I took the batteries from the controller, but that didn’t work either so I had to get up everytime I wanted the volume to be turned up or down or on or off. The next day when I went to talk to the guy, he said there should be absolutely no smoking, this is a smoke free facility. Well the sent of smoke continued all 5 nights I was there. On my third day I was running low on tp and I’ve had no cleaners or anything so I went to the lobby and he said, “oh I’m sorry, we are very short staffed so you will need to come down and request it if you need it. Lastly, you can not sleep anytime before 12, there were all kinds of noice and yelling outside my room and several times I walked out there were people hanging out in the hallway smoking. Horrible experience at the “hotel”, don’t plan on ever staying here again and I don’t think you should either unless you enjoy all the issues...

I stayed one night at Nevada Flats Hotel, and it was an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience. Rebeca at the front desk was the only professional and helpful staff member I encountered—she handled my reservation efficiently and was courteous throughout.

However, the rest of the experience was unacceptable. The property felt unsafe, with individuals loitering in the parking lot who appeared to be under the influence, and several guests leaving their room doors wide open, creating an unsettling and chaotic environment. The room itself was in poor condition: it smelled terrible, the sheets, towels, and pillowcases were visibly stained, and the shower was small, dirty, and appeared to contain black mold. The entire bathroom was unsanitary and clearly not properly maintained.

Due to the unacceptable conditions, I chose to leave and booked a room elsewhere, where the environment was significantly cleaner, safer, and more comfortable. To make matters worse, when I contacted Expedia in hopes of resolving the issue, the hotel manager refused to speak with their representative or offer any assistance.
