I had made appointment (consultation) with Amanda Brooks. The day of my appointment I get a text from Amanda 1 hour before my appointment with her saying she was super sick and she needed to reschedule. I responded back saying hope you feel better please let me know when I can schedule an appointment. Did no hear back from her. So I texted her saying hope your doing better basically just telling her what I wanted to get done to my hair. I sent her photos and to let me know when i can reschedule our appointment. She did respond back saying she wanted to see how my hair was now and that she would send me some days when she is available. I send her a few photos of my hair. My first appointment, my stylist was 20 minutes late. My second appointment was set for 10:30 am on a Thursday, a half hour later my appointment was changed to 10:00 am. At 9 am on Thursday morning, my stylist canceled and rescheduled for Saturday at 11:30 am. I arrived on Saturday at 11:20, my stylist was not there. I sat and waited until 12:45 pm, my stylist never showed up, did not answer my phone calls or texts. Another stylist even offered to give me a ride home so I didn’t have to wait for my husband, who was still 20 min. away. Terrible experience! Amanda Brooks is amazing with my hair. All things hair I will say. I bounce around so much with what I want and I'm so picky with my hair. Says the girl who went 3 years because of trust issues. She's really awesome. I appreciate her chair side manner and her advice is so helpful. I've never walked away unhappy from her work. She really does go way and beyond and especially during covid. This salon is clean, well kept, mannered stylists work here and it shows. Very professional but laid back not trashy laid back. Operated on covid guidelines right now as well.
