Caution, Felix was the stylist i went to. I went to have my hair cut (shadow faded, leaving my curly natural top) and my bleach job touched up. My hair was bleached platinum white and I will now have to cut off my curly top as I am in the military and my hair is overprocessed and damaged. I was put under the dryer with Bleach in my hair. No petroleum base was applied around the edges nor in my scalp prior to Bleach being applied after being cut (it burned). I was placed under the dryer with the bleach in my hair (huge no-go, especially for 4b texture hair). After washing out the bleach he was only going to apply deep conditioner. I asked about toner and that is the only reason toner was applied and I was placed back under the dryer with toner in my hair (also a no-go). Which caused my hair to not only turn white but it is now extremely dry and brittle i have tried deep conditioning and adding leave in conditioner with moisturizing creme. To no avail my hair is still shedding and as dry as can be. Believe the other reviews the brushing and combing was rough, and I feel like my service was being rushed. My Fade was not faded correctly. UPDATE: I came back earlier this week for an appointment with Teresa to get crochet braids done. I am happy to say the quality of care my hair received was a totally different experience than my last time. I was unable to wash and blow dry my hair before the appointment but Teresa offered to do it with no judgement. The crochets turned out beautiful and caused me no pain. It was a joy to return and have a great experience.

ORIGINAL: I wanted to give this place a shot as I really needed some help with deep conditioning my hair. The stylists were nice, but unfortunately the previous comment about detangling the hair from the root is accurate. My hair was tugged and pulled to the point where I asked to stop the process 2/3 of the way through. When I got home I saw a good amount of breakage and had to redo my normal wash day routine from the start - which I was hoping to avoid having to do myself.

DO NOT LET THIS MAN CUT YOUR HAIR! I went in, showed a pic of what I wanted, and the guy (Felix) butchered my hair, leaving it to look like peanut from Jeff Dunham. He had guaranteed he could do what was shown in the picture but it was a total lie. It was a fade with curls at the top. There was no fade and he cut to my scalp in the sides, trimmed the top to different lengths and flattened it after perming the hair.... a complete disaster!! If you cannot do a hairstyle just admit your limitations!!! I had to ask my husband to shave my head days later after I couldn't live with it anymore! Even getting my money back wouldn't correct this situation he put me in! The salon is clean but the service scars forever!!
