Taco Bell — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

By far the worst Taco Bell location I have ever been to. Just moved here a week ago from out of state, so this was my first impression. Last night around 5:30, I placed a mobile order for my husband and I, and went inside to wait for it. 15 minutes later, I asked the cashier if they were showing they had my order and she said yes, that it will be out shortly. 15 minutes after that, 30 minutes after placing the order, another employee said “Uh, we can’t make like half your stuff”. Another employee said there was only one item they couldn’t make and they could substitute it for something else. The only other thing I would want it substituted for was an item they also weren't serving. I would have been more understanding if they told me about 25 minutes before, that they weren’t able to make the complete order. There had to be about 6 or 7 employees, all of which were either on their phone, leaning on the food line drinking something, laughing and talking with each other, etc. They very rudely told me there’s nothing they can do about a refund and I need to contact support (Since it was over 30 minutes since I placed the order, I wasn’t able to pull it up on my app and cancel it). While trying to contact support, they had marked my order as complete, so I am no longer able to get a refund. I went back in the restaurant to tell them that, and as soon as one of the employees saw me, she said “Oop, Rachel’s back”, as she got off the food line, where she was sitting on (absolutely disgusting and unsanitary). Other employees were still laughing. The state I moved from, I lived my entire life, and I have never had any type of issue like this in 22 years. I ordered online and when I pulled up to the speaker box my order hadn’t popped up yet. the person running the drive thru said that i might take a minute but he will send it through once it pops up. after about 30 minutes we finally pulled up to the window and the person running the drive through forgot to send my order over so he asked me to park and come in the lobby because its gonna be a while. I parked and waited in my car for about 10 minutes assuming that would give them enough time to make my order. when I went in they my order wasn't ready but they asked who I was they about 10-15 minutes later they asked again and i told them i was the one in the drive through who waited for 30 minutes and now I've been waiting 45-55 minutes. they apologized and i told them i understand because i used to work at taco bell and mistakes happen and sometimes its out of your control. they then made my food and got it out to me as quickly as they could and were really kind and apologetic and up graded my drink to a large and gave me a coupon for a free taco. when i got home to eat the potatoes for my cheesy fiesta potato we're old and stale my soda (brisk dragon berry sparkling ice tea) was just carbonation and the burritos were marked wrong so I gave my bf and his cousin the wrong burritos. I love taco bell and have ordered at this location multiple times and Ive never had this experience there before but to wait so long for the food and it was just gross put a damper on my whole experience. I've been sitting inside the lobby for an hour and a half when I placed my order at 7 am. The past two days that I've come in to pick up breakfast, I've been told the employee came in late. I get your short staffed but if you as a manager are late constantly or forget your keys then management change is needed, then I get told an hour later that the order isn't even showing up when the people told me initially 20 minutes this is at 7 am mind you. Closing shift didn't clean anything that's clear. The tables, floor, and counters were disgusting and hadn't been wiped down. All my food was Luke warm and almost like it sat there the entire time while they did God only knows. Half of my order didn't have the items in it like the grilled cheese burrito. I asked no meat, and it's supposed to come with rice, red strips cheese ect but it only had cheese and beans bec there was no rice. I recommend not going to this location for your breakfast cravings because it will be a good hour and a half before you get your food while the only 2 people in seem lost about what they are even supposed to be making. Another person who put an order in after me left and got their food before I got mine and inly waited like 10 minutes while I waited almost 2 hours for a burrito, nacho fries, 1 breakfast crunchwrap and 3 drinks. I will never go back to taco bell again especially this location. I used to order from here all the time bec they are right down the street literally a 10 min walk.
