Good afternoon everyone. Hope all is well. My family and myself were very hungry. We could have picked any place to have eaten at and we chose Texas Roadhouse. Let me begin to say how very disappointed we all were and also shocked as well. Normally we eat at the T.RHouse on Powers but they were wall to wall packed. We didn't pick a reservation because it was on a Wednesday and it was a surprise dinner for the ladies.. myself.. daughter and Grandbaby. To make a long story short..we called to make a reservation for the T.RH on 8th Street which had a 10 minute wait..PERFECT RIGHT?? Right timing..wrong choice to dine. We got there and it wasn't long before we should have gotten up and left. The waiter we had was too fast for his own good. He seemed frustrated and ready for guests to "KUM N GO".. He introduced himself..I won't say no name because in my personal experience..you just don't do that. You'll know who it is when you get this kind of experience for yourselves. He literally threw our drink napkins at us while asking .."What do you want to drink?". Very rude..and then turned right around and threw a couple more at us.. They had a family who was there celebrating I'm assuming, their Granddaughters 18th Birthday party. There may have been about 10 people all together. He was very attentive to their needs and was very friendly..overlooked us on several occasions. We were never asked nor offered a highchair nor booster seat for my beautiful Granddaughter. We had to ask after being seated 30 minutes in, mins you that we were asked over the phone did we need any specific accommodations. After all that was said and "not done" meaning after we ordered our meals, my daughter ordered her daughter mashed potatoes..when our food was ready and brought to the table.. everything "LOOKED APPEALING " NOTHING WAS HOT...and my Granddaughter"s potatoes was not even on the order. When asked by my daughter, once we had begun to give thanks to the Lord for our meal by another waiter, was everything to our liking? we told the waiter that we were missing a mashed potato. That waiter must've informed our waiter of the small problem because he then came back..and with an attitude and said.."here ya go buddy" about my Granddaughter. I was appalled. My daughter wanted to just leave everything and just go..but this kind of behavior is not what we do. We couldn't finish anything..we took our meals in "To Go" boxes, home with us and we allowed our dogs to have it because we do not waste food. It is sad that we work too hard for our money and to have spent 138 or more dollars and to get treated as such and the food was not up to quality. Yes we could have told the manager about the situation but we have been in a similar predicament where the restaurant comes out on top. So we just said we won't come back to this particular restaurant again. We also could tell that this waiter has been employed for a while here because of how they moved, barely needed to write things down and how fast paced he moved. It's not about that.. it's about appreciation of your customers because they are the ones that pay your salary. I understand that you get tired and we as consumers can make your job harder than it needs to be, but it doesn't make sense to treat anyone accordingly. I hope this young man really sits back and rethinks his attitude and behavior of how you treat people.. especially if they are addressing you with Thank you's..Your welcome and Sir..Yes Sir. I am deeply saddened by this. I even heard the party of 10 who were seated next to us throw in a couple shots/ comments about this waiter who served us as well as themselves..and it wasn't nice comments. We still were polite all the way to the end. But if he could see the looks on our faces..a half blind person would've noticed the dissatisfaction and disappointment there. Even after I leave this comment..I can guarantee that management will reach out and offer their sincere apologies but nothing more. We're used to it, it always happens this way. You rarely find where you're accommodated...
Read moreOctober 2024 It's been a long time, but I decided I could afford the best steak in the house today, and I was not disappointed. I did some due diligence and saw what others highly recommended on several websites about the fantastic Bone In Ribeye at Texas Roadhouse. As instructed, cooked medium and nothing less, nothing more - it captures all the flavor, natural juices, and the rim of fat is the best to add to the final tasty steak adventure. Since I only do a nice steak every 3 or 4 months, I knew I could afford to splurge, and believe me, the Bone In Ribeye is a gold medal winner here. Then add the wonderful side dishes and exceptional, over the top service from a fun staff - and you have a recipe for a most enjoyable pre-Bronco game lunch! 5 humbs Up again!!!
Feb 2024 Always the best steaks done perfectly, and exceptional customer service from staff and management. 5 Thumbs Up! Be sure and go delicious with the Dallas Filet.
New Review Time, December 2022 Hot just out of the oven wonderful hot fresh rolls arrive at your table as you are being seated with special butter - Yummy for sure. I truly think this steak was the best I have ever had- just now, tender - moist- and mouth watering. No need for any steak sauce for sure. Worth the extra few dollars for the Dallas filet, cooked to perfection and butterflied by the Chef. The steak sauce is the real deal by the way, made for Texas Roadhouse back in Louisville, Kentucky. The weekend early serving hours on Fridays - Sundays are a great boon to those who make lunch their prmary "big" meal of the day. Only isssue I had was a steak knife that was not cleaned properly but my waitress handled it immediately for me. Yes, exceptional customer service too. 5 Thumbs Up.
Oh my! Best and most tender 14oz Ft Worth Ribeye steak ever! Exceptional customer service from...
Read moreHaven't eaten here in a while and decided to dine out with the family tonight.
Even though they were very busy we were sat within about 15 mins vs the 20/25 we were quoted. Off to a great start!
The ladies at the bar were very patient as we had quite a wait before the rest of our party showed. They were also attentive and got us taken care of in a timely manner as they ran the bar and the surrounding tables.
We were seated in the bar area but at a table and I was facing the kitchen. In a span of maybe 15 mins I saw 3 different employees eating food and then serving customers, one was chewing food as they walked over with food to be served to a table. Another one was munching on something -hand/ finger to mouth then grabs an order to take to a table. The 3rd I can't even remember, but I know I counted at least 3. After that I didn't want to pay attention to the kitchen/ servers.
It's really a turn off. I held Texas Roadhouse to a higher standard. I did make sure to mention this to the managing partner on site as we left and he said he would speak to them about it.
The food was ok. Mac and cheese lacked cheese, mom's pulled pork was so fatty she had to swap it for something else (ribs). My chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes were good. Son had no complaints on his steak and fries. Mom's ribs and sweet potato were good.
The overall tone was really ruined after witnessing the severs eating and serving at the same time, this is highly unacceptable. No washing hands in between eating and serving food to customers.
(This is the 2nd review I've left as I encountered this at a completely different restaurant as well - servers eating while working and serving food without washing hands in between -This is unacceptable, unsanitary and not something I should even have to put in a review, because it shouldn't be a...
