5 Star Nails & Spa — Local services in Colorado Springs

Been going here for years, back when they were VIP nail, and spa. Before the owners were able to get a bigger space, and add techs. John always does an awesome job on my nails, he is attentive to them, knows when it's time to put a new set on, and since the beginning has known exactly how I like them. Made a mistake a few times not booking an appointment knowing how many regulars he serves, and walk-ins he tries to service. Only one place was able to come close, but the nails were messed up after 2 weeks, coming off my real nail, and chipping. Whatever John uses works great because my gel acrylics last a whole month before I need my next fill. Yes, the children are there when not at school, but they dont get in the way. They are polite, and of course interrupt like children do. The owners speak in their native tongue, but I havent been to a nail place, restaurant, gas station, whatever small business you can think of that you know is foriegn owned. I debated about leaving a review, but after I saw the charge on my credit card, it upsets me now that we left a 30 dollar tip. Nails and feet came out great! I had been needing to get my toes done because I had fallen and broken my ribs and knee cap. But they do talk bad about customers amongst themselves while you sit there. I know the language, and I should have said something but I didn't. I was on a girl's day with my son's best friend and his girlfriend to celebrate my son graduating Basic. Halfway through our session, they turned off the air conditioning, and we were suffocating with our masks on. I hope they understand that even if we might look different, that some of us might have a higher education which included learning different languages.they should understand this before they speak out of turn. I will give 2stars for the service, but no stars for their unprofessional comments...

I would give this place a 0 stars review. I went in to get a pedi and a color change for my wedding day. The lady who did my toes was the owner i told her what i wanted even showed her a picture of what i wanted. it was a simple french tip with a color base. She didn't pay any mind to what i was telling her she just went on to cutting my toe nails extremely short without asking. She painted my toes and did what she wanted and when i told her i wasn't happy with the outcome she just ignored me and went on with another customer. She had me waiting on the chair for a while and when she finally got to me she took 5 minutes. Not only did i have to pay for a full service without being finshed because she ended up taking off the nail polish. my toe nails will also look horrible for my wedding day because she cut my nails so short to the point of pain. I do not recommend this place...
