We were a family of four looking for a casual dinner spot. I am usually super forgiving, especially when it comes to divey pubs, but even I couldn’t believe our experience here. I called ahead to see if they had a kids menu and was told yes, and they even serve kids portions of their other options, “like a kids burger”. My son loves burgers so off we went. When we walked in, there was one table of four with dishes still on it. The sign said seat yourself. We waited for about ten minutes by this table before anyone came to clean it off. It took even longer for someone to come by and take our order. When I tried to order a kids burger they said they didn’t have a kids but I could order their regular burger. (When it came, the fries had about 1/4 the regular amount, looking to be kids size but they charged us for an adult burger order). After ordering drinks and food, I had to ask someone to bring us waters to the table. Our food took an incredibly long time to come. So much so that the waitresses apologized, saying their crew was new, and they were taking extra time “to make sure they got it right for us.” After that long wait, a waitress came by to tell my wife the pot roast she ordered was no longer available. So she had to order a new meal. She repeatedly asked for everyone else’s orders to be brought out before hers because our kids were understandably starting to protest they were so hungry (where’s our food, I’m so hungry, I have nothing to eat, etc.). We had to play multiple rounds of mad lib just to keep everyone entertained enough to not get too hangry. And when our food finally did come, it wasn’t right. I had ordered my sandwich without cheese but there was cheese on it. I had to take it up to the bar to tell the waitress it was wrong because no one checked on us after it was served. Later when the new order did come, it did not have cheese on it, but it also didn’t have sauce. I just ate the dry sandwich anyway, was too hungry to wait for someone to come by again to ask for sauce. Then the check. The waitress did offer me a free beer for all the trouble, but when the check came they had charged us for both the pot roast and my wife’s second order - as if we had ordered both! The waitress also said she applied a discount for the issues. The discount was a nickel. Literally, five cents. I’m attaching a picture of the receipt because I couldn’t believe it myself. My wife had to go up to the bar to ask them to take the pot roast off and if that was the correct discount applied. They said no and brought back a check with a 10% discount. At this point they should have comped the whole meal, but we didn’t even get the cost of our kids meal burger charged as an adult waived. I hate leaving bad reviews and like I said, normally extend a lot of grace and second chances, but this has me so annoyed that I’ll never go back. I understand it was a Monday night, but it was Dec. 30. They should’ve known most people aren’t working and looking to go out this week. We’ve always enjoyed their food at Red Leg and wanted to try their restaurant, but won’t be making that mistake again.

Burger was amazing but service was beyond bad. Also for $16, I’d expect more than 6 tiny pub chips on my plate. Every time I spoke my server seemed to run away before I’d even finish speaking. This led to her putting in our food wrong more than once. We ordered buffalo knots and we were brought garlic knots. We didn’t say anything because it took about 20/30mins for them to arrive and we didn’t wanna wait another 20mins for a new order. When she brought the knots I had to call her back to place our order and thank god I did bc 5mins after we placed our burger order, someone from the kitchen came and asked if we ordered burgers. We said yes, we both did and she said it was going to be about an hour wait bc there is an event going on. We said it was ok, and thanks for letting us know. What our server should have done, is told us that food was taking long to come out so that we could have just put all our food in from the beginning. Finally, an hour later when we got our burgers, we didn’t even get the loaded pub chips we had asked for….I told her right away and the loaded chips came when we were practically done eating. While the burgers were amazing I’ll likely never be going back. Also the kitchen lady that came to tell us the burgers were gonna be a while was kind and asked if we’d like any drinks bc she noticed my husband and I didn’t have anything besides water.

We're in town visiting family and stayed at the hotel literally yards from the pub. We ate there two nights in a row. First, they have a great local beer selection. Second, out of 4 meals for my wife and I, 3 were amazing. I had the cheesesteak the first night. Absolutely amazing. They do this thing where they replace bell pepper with green chiles. Her dill chicken chicken sandwich was standard. Very dill flavored which is good, but the chicken was standard. Tonight, I had the grinder which was on special. It was fantastic. Wife had the Nashville hit chicken melt which she liked more than the dill chicken from the night before. My aunt and uncle, who live here, visited for the first time. He had the club which was also on special, and gigantic. It would easily feed 2! Aunt had chips and queso. We stopped in tonight for trivia. We did poorly, but the food was awesome, and the beer is cold and delicious. You won't be disappointed if you stop in.

I have been to many pubs in Colorado, one of the reasons I live here is for cool people, great beer, and awesome pubs. I’ve been here 3 times and every time is just unpleasant. First time I visited, I was treated very coldly and it seemed as if I was a irritant to the bar tender. Nonetheless, had a beverage and left. The second time was more of the same but after an initial sub par greeting, a gentleman helped me who really seemed to care. Today, I visited and I was the only person at the bar. Sat down and the two bar tenders 3 feet away didn’t even say hi. In fact, one read my t-shirt, scoffed and walked away (tshirt with chicken on it that says “cluck around and find out”). After 2 minutes of absolute silent treatment, I left. I really try hard not to judge peoples “why.” Not sure if it was the shirt, poor timing, color of skin, or what but it has never been a pleasant experience. On my second visit I even tipped 200% to hopefully prove a point but I’m sure it landed flat. Not sure what to say about this place but 3 times of walking into a place feeling like you’re not deserving to be there is totally unacceptable. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but today was the tipping point. To be honest, the vibe in this place is anti-Colorado. When you’re an unfriendly place in the land of cool people, you must not thrive. Good luck and I really hope you figure out how to be more customer centric, bc you have missed the mark big time. Oh, side note, they only serve their own brand of whiskey - you will not find Blanton or even Makers at this place. Albeit, the selection they do have actually...

A bunch of people in my group ordered the veg-head pizza. It was supposed to have artichokes and sun dried tomatoes on it. There were no artichokes. There were 2 cheery tomatoes cut in half and put on it, not sun dried tomatoes. The spinach was not cooked into the pizzza, it was stacked on top raw. We had top call the waitress over to ask about the artichokes becasue she was not going to stay around to tell us that they were missing. When forced to talk about it, she said they were out, did we want something else to put on top. I suggested black olives, which they were also out of. The proper thing to do would to have NOT delivered these items with wrong ingredients at all. She should have come back the told us the situation so we could reorder or decide that this was okay. Just ignoring and and, it seemed, hoping we would not notice or mention it is not okay. When pressed, she knocked a buck off the price for each of us.Even if this item had been served correctly, the price was outrageous, so a buck off was trivial. Being out of things - that happens. Not informing people that order them after you drop them at the table is not acceptable. Not telling people before you bring them this food that is nothing like what they ordered is inexcusable. I have tried this place 5 times, and had similarly lousy experiences every time. So, I feel I have given them enough tries and will not be back. I suppose when a place is doing the trendy cool vibe thing, they don't feel the need to do a professional, first rate job...
